Taqueria La Lupita — Restaurant in Humble

I decided to come here and was not disappointed. The chips and salsa that were brought out before the meal were warm and they tasted good. The waitress was very nice and never neglected us. We ordered an appetizer, the loaded nachos. I don't remember the name of the dish, but I remember it was excellent. One of the things that I liked about it was that they did not use a cheese sauce, but rather they used real melted cheese. And they used a lot of melted cheese. They did not skimp on the cheese. Also, what was great about it was that they did not use cheap ground beef. There were pieces of fajita in the nachos which was very tasty. All in all the portion sizes were very generous. I ended up having to get a takeaway box to bring the food home. I will definitely come back here if I'm in the area and I've got a hankering for Mexican food. I'd like to try out more of the menu and see if I find a dish the really stands out as superior.

The horchata was very sweet. Quite a bit sweeter than I usually take it so I switched to unsweetened iced tea to balance it out. On my second visit the horchata sweetness was normal, so I suppose the first time I tried it was just a sweet batch.

I had to come back in and edit my review with the following: quite a few days after writing the review i heated up the quesadillas which I had taken home, and they were so good that I will probably go back here for some more quesadillas. They were just really liberal with cheese and I like that so much.

So I've been twice and the first time was amazing. The second time was awful. My first trip the food was good, hot, and came out quickly. The restaurant and bathrooms were, and clean. My second trip was the complete opposite. My family and I went for breakfast and everything that could go wrong went wrong. The restaurant smelled horrible like backed up sewage. I took my youngest to the bathroom and had to actually clean the toilet before he could sit on it. It was still filthy and covered in actually human waste from the night before. Our food came out cold-ish and our potatoes were not cooked all the way through. it took forever for our food to even make it to the table. It wasn't busy either. Only about 4 groups of 4 in the she place. Our drinks never got refilled and our orders were wrong. One of Us asked for beans on the side, and got beans on the tacos. I asked for no cheese,...

We found this Taqueria because we were going to Humble City Cafe and there was a train that had traffic stopped so we were with my in laws and they were hungry so we this restaurant to the left. We decided to got eat there so know we go there quite a bit. The food is great, I have never been disappointed with the food or the service. The waitresses are polite and always tend to us Curtiously. We never have to ask for tea and coffee because they keep our glasses and cups are always filled in a timely manner. We love this place.
