🍦 ICE CREAM STOP IN HUNTERSVILLE! 🍦

On a sunny afternoon in Huntersville, I dropped by a local ice cream shop for a sweet treat—and what caught my eye was the Cappuccino Crunch in a crispy waffle cone. Just look at that creamy swirl and those rich chocolatey chunks! 😍 (📸 See photo for proof of this double-scoop delight!)

This was a medium size, but honestly, it felt huge—and indulgently satisfying. The flavor was bold with a coffee kick, perfectly balanced with crunchy chocolate bits throughout. While the ice cream itself is from Hershey’s—so not homemade—it still hit the spot for a quick pick-me-up dessert.

The shop has a cozy, family-friendly vibe with cute seasonal wall decor and big windows that let in plenty of sunlight. The staff were genuinely friendly and patient while I browsed the many available flavors (trust me, it took a while).

This is a cute shop in a good location with great selections but be warned that as of 3/16/24, there was no county sanitation rating posted anywhere that was easily visible to customers. Additionally, the three young men that were serving us ice cream cones and shakes were not wearing gloves at all for the 20 min I was in the shop. But gloves were visible and available to them. What’s worse is that they were overseeing transactions at the register, moving tins of ice cream around and wiping down equipment with dish rags without washing or sanitizing their hands in between activities or prior to serving food. We absolutely love this local ice cream shop. They have the yummiest selection of ice cream and also have dairy free options for those with allergies/food sensitivities. The employees are always so kind and friendly. Our two year old LOVES going to visit and has now memorized where the ice cream shop is located. No more discretely passing by the ice cream shop. Lol!
