I am an espresso Aficionado. Love the liquid gold, I also appreciate good customer service. I have been waiting for this establishment to open for a while. I believe it opened this week. When I walked in: It was dead. No one really greeted me. They did not know it was National Coffee Day. It is also one of the busiest weekends in HB. The airshow... just a bunch of printed info outside...no one greeting anyone... the cashier was unaware of how to ring my request. He had a pastry item in his hand and was eating it while ringing my drink. I mentioned it, but no one seemed to care. The gal whom I am assuming is in charge was very sweet and gave me a free shot and a bit of connection. She looked a bit razzled but was very kind. I was not asking for anything free but accepted. I inquired about the roaster, and she pointed me to me, and I spoke with the gentleman, who is the roaster?, maybe the owner?? . He was leaning on the counter. When i expressed my love for espresso and desire to learn more about roasting...he was very uninterested...odd...and seemed bored by my excitement and interest. He was more interested in the food someone made. The espresso was ok. Overall, I was unimpressed, and with that disappointing experience and the price, I will probably not return or suggest this...
