Bagelmania Coffee House — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

My boyfriend took me here for the first time and believe me when I tell you that the drive thru line was absolutely insane. But it was totally worth it for the bagels! I got a blueberry bagel with plain cream cheese and my boyfriend got a cheese bagel with cream cheese. I was definitely happy with my bagel but I think I will be trying an onion or everything bagel on my next visit after a little bit of onion made its way into my order (and it was my favorite bite). My boyfriend was not overly enthusiastic about his cheese bagel saying his usual order of the sesame bagel is better, but he was still happily chowing down his bagel. My one negative mark is that their regular coffee was horrible, I didn't even want to finish drinking it because it almost tasted like they used spoiled creamer. Be a cautious when going here. Everything went fine when ordering but when it was time to pay we noticed it was a bit high. Later while we were eating we realized they changed us $19.35 for 3 bottled sodas. The soda cost 2.50 a piece (7.50) but they also charged us an additional $3:95 per soda (11.85). So each soda actually cost $6.45. Than when we talked to them they tried to deny that they charged us that much, until I added it up in front of them. They had no explanation as to why the charge so much and acted very defensive. It was like pulling teeth to get a refund and even than they only gave us 7.50, we still payed the 11.85 and they couldn't even tell us what that was for. Other than that the bagle sandwich are kinda dry, and they ended up giving the wrong muffin. Wouldn't recommend, make sure to check your receipt. Almost 20 dollars for 3 sodas is...

So yes this is a great bagel spot, With a plethora of tasty options where you're bound to find one that you'll enjoy.

But what you may not know about this place is that they have fantastic smoothies- Especially the "acai energy" smoothie.

Pro tip: order the smoothie with pineapple base, It's the way to go.

The acai smoothie is my family's favorite thing on the menu, I also get down on the "egg mcbagel with meat" and get it on a Mexican bagel with provolone- Which always does the job for me.

The so have an enclosed dine in area just adjacent to the store, With decent seating if you did want to enjoy your bagel and / or smoothie there in house.

Absolutely love this spot, If I had the excess cash- I'd get an acai energy smoothie every day...
