I don't frequent this place as much as I used to. It's the only drive thru on the right side of the road on magnolia from PCH to the 405, so you don't really have a lot of options if you are in a hurry. And if you are in a hurry, the drive thru here seems to have a longer average wait time than most of fast food joints in the area, unfortunately. Sometimes I think parking and going inside would be faster, and in some cases I've been correct with that assumption. Just make a note of the car you would have been behind if you did take the drive thru, and see if they are still in line when you leave. That's a free life pro tip courtesy of me. The accuracy of my orders here is a lower percentage than I would like it to be, so definitely double check your food before you zip on out of there. Also the CJ value menu isn't what it used to be. The price of a spicy chicken sandwich is more than double of what it was 5 years ago. Definitely surpassing the standard rate of inflation. Price of the large hamburger is almost triple. Anyways, I won't say you shouldn't go here, but if you have another option, I wouldn't make it your first choice. I'll give four out of five on this one because the younger guy who is a shift manager here really cares about his job and good customer service. Read moreWent here at 6:30 on a monday night 2/10 to try and take advantage of the deal they were offering for a free burger. The app however is not working properly and so i went in to see if the staff could help me, or simply provide me with the deal that is advertised. I was quickly told by a man and a woman if it is a problem with the app, they cannot do anything and will be unable to provide me access to this offer. As soon as the last word left the workers mouth, she turned her back and went to something else, as i stood there hoping for more assistance, i eventually said “excuse me” to which her response was to go to the bqck, out of view of the customers. Quite poor service if you ask me. I get it that sometimes things get busy, however welcome to food service where providing customer service to CUSTOMERS is your job. If you dint like it you should quit. Hope management/ownership is able to maybe provide better training or acquire new employees that can, one, help provide customers with promotions they advertise, and two, provide customers with even a sliver of decent...
Read moreNever posted a review on line but this deserves it. Last time they messed up my order I thought I would never get my family of 5 food there again. Nice that they are 3 minutes away. Thanks to their advertising I was out numbered. Went and placed another order. Once again a burger was missing. So as a good dad I give the oldest my American burger. Family's happy, I'm not so happy once again. This would be the third time. Now an Angry dad, hungry but I see my family eat. My money, my choice. My choice is not patronizing this Carl's again, or any of them. Mc shittles at least gets my order correct, I'd rather put up with the Mc shittles then be starving after working 13 hours.
