Eggroll King — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

My partner just finished his haircut, and we decided to grab a bite before we worked out. This spot is a couple stores down, so we wanted to try it.

Parking: They’re located in a plaza with plenty of free parking. Easy to find.

Ambiance/Environment: Walking in, we were not greeted. We seated ourselves at an open table. It’s a small restaurant, so seating is limited. Very clean and looks new. We also noticed there were a lot of older caucasian customers, and we were the only Asians lol.

Service: Our servers took care of us. The server that took our order is efficient. The cooks were also quick and efficient. We received our dishes within 10 minutes. The other server that delivered our dishes was kind.

Food: The portions are shareable! Each dish on their menu is large!

1. Kung Pao Chicken - My partner ordered this, and we shared it. This dish came with a choice of white or brown rice. He chose brown rice. We enjoyed this dish! We adjusted it to make it a bit more spicy. The chicken was cooked well and coated with a good amount of kung pao sauce. It wasn’t too salty. The vegetables made it even more tastier.

2. Honey Walnut Shrimp - I ordered this dish, and of course we both shared it. This also came with a choice of white or brown rice. I chose brown rice. The shrimp was pretty big, cooked well, and coated evenly. I looove the sauce! It was creamy, not too sweet, and had a strong lemon taste.

Pricing: I’d say it’s definitely worth its price. Portions are generous. If you don’t finish, now you have food for the next day. They also offer lunch specials. If you don’t want to dine, you can mobile order...

If you're looking for an amazing Chinese food restaurant look no further. Wow do I love this place.

The food is great and at a price thats hard to match. I go in for lunch all the time. It's family owned and everyone is very friendly. I love to dine at a place that I know I can bring my family to have a great meal everytime no matter what.

It's also a place when I have visitors I can take them for a wonderful meal and I never have to worry about them not finding something they'll eat (fish, veggies, beef, chicken, and pork)

My favorite dish is the Kung Pao Chicken -extra hot and with lunch you get the egg roll and a wonton. The egg rolls are always crispy and never soggy, won tons have a nice crunch to them as well. The kung pao is well tossed and the chicken is excellent without any of the cartilage that I have found in so many cheap chinese places. In fact the beef is just as great for the same reasons and both are never stringy or too chewy. My family loves the House Special Chicken and Orange peel beef (though we switch the meats around sometimes)

What sets this place apart from being just great food is the owner. Tom is nice to talk to, always friendly, and you can see it from the moment you walk in he cares about his business and his customers. I keep coming back over and over and I recommend...

During a recent visit to California, I stumbled upon a delightful gem—Eggroll King Chinese Food. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The restaurant itself is cozy and cute, with a quiet atmosphere that made it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal.
