I will never, ever, ever come to this location again. I placed it to go order that was supposed to be ready by 1:30 wHILE on my lunch break from work. The two kids making the to-go orders were swamped while the people at the walk encounter only had one person ordering. Apparently they had a large order, but no one was helping them and they looked overwhelmed. The manager was chitchatting with someone else about where the best barbecue in town was. There were at least five people waiting to pick up orders with no sense of urgency from the staff in creating those orders. Several of us had already been waiting 15 minutes past our pick up times. I finally asked the manager what was going on and then and only then did he hop in to help. At the time I should have been back at work, he handed me my order and said sorry. No thank you, no conversation and no thank you. There was zero customer service from him or any employee working or any sign that they wanted to make us happy or even come back at all. This is a perfect example of how NOT to run a business if you want to succeed and if you want customers to return. The horrible thing here is that the food is good, really good… But I will never order here again. Update: fyi…I ordered a rice and chicken...

I first tried CAVA at the Westwood location and have been on a mission to find one near me in the Orange County region. And I think I've found the go-to spot. I came in for my usual bowl and, despite being in a long lunch rush, was greeted by the absolute BEST, friendliest, and most welcoming staff I've encountered. If I could update the Mount Rushmore, I would carve in the Saturday 4 PM Crew on there. Let me tell you now, they got me RIGHT. Honestly, the only time CAVA has tasted better was when I first tried it in LA. Everything was incredibly fresh and hot, the toppings were diverse and on point, and the line moved surprisingly quickly despite the crowd. I could spend HOURS at this location because their interior design is top-notch. Shoutout to the tall man with the tattoos, he should be promoted IMMEDIATELY. This guy is truly spectacular, one of a kind. Not only does he bring lively energy, but he also remembers the little details from our past conversations. That type of service is undefeated. If I could leave a 6-star review, I would. If I tip this crew, I'd leave them a 200% tip. Amazing location, amazing staff, and even more...
Read moreYes, the food was Delicious, Store Ambience/Atmosphere was Great. But I want to share the Extraordinary Service my husband and I experienced on our very first visit to CAVA last weekend. There was a short line in front of us as we were looking at the menu, we notice 2 EMTs in uniform few places in front of us. My husband went around to the checkout and spoke with the manager quietly, that we wanted to pay for their lunch, whatever they were ordering. They spoke for a bit and she shared with us that the store has a special discount for all Service Members, which we thought was a great policy. We still wanted to honor these EMTs and asked if could. She gave us a wink and a quiet nod with a thumbs up 👍😉 The EMTs left a little surprised and very happy. When it was our turn to pay, it was our turn for a surprise. She said for our act of kindness, the store took care of the EMTs lunch, and on top of that they gave us their discount!! We have done this at various different restaurants and eateries, but this level of involvement with reciprocal and spontaneous act of kindness from an establishment was the first.
