My family (4) went there on 1-2-2023. Usually the parking lot is full. We decided to go thinking it was less busy. It sort of was. They were gonna sit us at a table we requested a booth. I ordered cheese enchiladas (#9), my wife chicken enchiladas (receipt says #9), my daughter shredded chicken quesadilla (Avila) and my son Azteca burrito. My wife and I liked our choice. My wife didn't like the rice. My sons burrito came wet he said it was good but would have liked being told it came wet or at least somewhere on the menu that it stated that. My picky daughter and i quote, "Liked it. What kept me from loving it was the grease Legit felt 5 yrs slip off my life every bite, " she said oily substance came down to her hand/wrist while eating it. She picked out small pieces of tomato. Our server "Laura" wasn't that attentive. Yes we got 3 horchatas (refills 99 cents each) but she could have asked. The male server (drinks?) He was nice he brought our refills and would refill my wife coffee (without us asking for a refill). I asked if I pay here or go to register..she said she can take it. She brought it back but with no lollipops (after I paid, we were leaving I stopped at the "greeting station" and asked if I can go get some lollipops..she said yes (not "Laura" someone else). We got our lollipops and went to our car...where now an eager person was looking for parking.
TIP I either tip "good (percentage)" or something or nothing left. I gave a $5.00 tip
Pros: Food is good if you're not a picky eater Cons: You may have to ask for refills and or get your own lollipops :)

Read moreMy family has been coming here since the 1970s. The food has gone downhill. Usually, that happens when kids and other family members take over the restaurant. The ingredients you can tell are cheaper, which affects taste, the food is bland and subpar, and the inside of the restaurant needs to be revamped, some of the decor has been there since I was 16 i am now 39 years old its dusty and has a 1980s vibe to it. I can tell the family is very cheap and does not want to invest money into the restaurant and the quality of food they use. Every year, they send postcards with a picture of the family, but no coupons, maybe 10% off or even a free soda to loyal customers, you get nothing but a family photo. I do not care to see your family photo, Do not be cheap. I would skip coming to this once thriving restaurant it has lost its luster. Older people with no taste buds frequent this establishment, which allows them to get away with such subpar food. I love ceviche they charge 13.49 for 1 small Tostada of subpar and bland ceviche. Other places like el ceviche loco have flavorful ceviche, which makes 5 tostadas for the same price. I will never return to this 1-star dining experience and have not recommended it since. (To margarita 10 years is nothing compared to a family who has been to your restaurant for the last 55 years. It's not a misunderstanding it's facts if you have only been working here for 10 years. How do you know what the food has tasted like. The food is subpar, and you can tell it's cheaper products. I am a foodie, and I know really good food, and you guys lost...
Read moreUpdate October 2nd Finally Jackie explained to me why they took away the Green Chili option and I totally get it... It isn't used for many other options other than enchiladas and many people seems it back and they lose money thankfully I promised I would not send it back because it's the only chili I can eat and she made a exception for me this time I do enjoyed my food thank you Jackie..... UPDATED: Today was the worse! I have always had Chiliquelles with green chili ever since I tried this establishment (I explained my food issues with the very first waitress and she suggested them made this way) and today I was told I couldn't have it and there was no exception, the waitress said that came from a manager. To come and find out through our friends who we had to leave there because they had already ordered, it was the waitress not the manager! This is very upsetting!!!! As a cancer survivor with throat issues I was appalled and very upset. This is very heartbreaking and not right. People have health issues there should be some understanding.
The Chiliquelles were so so good and the beans yum!!!! I can't wait to go back... The service was great, coffee delicious overall best experience. The good here never ceases to amaze...
