I took my family here for the first time this past Saturday. Our ticket printed at 1 pm. As it started getting closer to 1:30 we noticed other guests placing their orders and getting their food before us. My wife went to the counter and asked about the order and they mentioned the computer they didn’t relay the information to the back. We had to waiting an additional 10 minutes I went to the counter and asked for a refund. They said my food is ready but I wanted to be compensated for the inconvenience. Peter, the manager or own came to the front. I explained what is the appropriate solution for the inconvenience. Peter said “I’m sorry, it’s the computer’s fault.” Peter then looked at my receipt and said, “it’s only been 30 minutes, I didn’t wait too long.” I explained to him the other customers who came in after us received their orders before us. Peter said “I’m sorry.” I requested a refund again. Peter became frustrated and said I’ll give your money back. He gave me a refund receipt and as I was walking out of the door I heard him saying in frustration “it’s the computer’s fault.” I can tell Peter is accustomed with dealing with a certain demographic in a certain way. Read moreI had a deeply disappointing and concerning experience at this restaurant. From the moment we entered, the behavior of some employees was unprofessional and alarming. One worker even made an inappropriate comment about wanting us to "go home and stay." Later, this same employee threw something into the bag of my relative, a 30-year Army veteran, which was highly disrespectful. The situation escalated when my cousin simply asked for a sauce to go with his order. Instead of handling the request courteously, the employee became confrontational and told my cousin not to "throw" the request at him. Several other employees then joined in, behaving disrespectfully and using foul language. Despite our repeated requests to speak to a manager, the employees refused to assist. When the manager finally arrived, he attempted to defuse the situation but failed to hold his staff accountable for their behavior. Shockingly, one of the employees even ran outside and claimed she was getting her father, further escalating the conflict. This experience was not only upsetting but also raised serious safety concerns. I went to this ATown wings today 10 November 2021 roughly around noon to purchase a 10 piece wings (honeygold) with fries for my child who was at work. Once I was at counter to order, there was a young black female behind the plastic counter taking the order. Also, there was a gentleman before me who just placed his order at the soda machine to the left getting ice. I gave the young lady my order and she said she couldn’t hear me, so I spoke louder. Now anyone who knows me knows that I have a loud voice. So after I again gave her my order, she said what sauce do I want? I replied calmly by “ma’am I told you already honeygold.”
She immediately started to yell stating that she couldn’t hear me. I knew that probably the noise from the ice machine was hindering us from clear communication, but the rude attitude I could not take.
I then told her that she can keep the order and I proceeded to walk out. The gentleman who was at the ice machine and I walked out around the same time and you could hear the young lady still fussing at me as I was walking away.
Where do she get off thinking that I must spend my money at a place that I am clearly...
