My husband, our two year old son and I went to your restaurant for dinner tonight. Usually we have nothing to complain about. But this time we didn't have a good experience there. Our server Jeff came up to the table and instead of greeting us and introducing himself, he asked "Are you ready?". While I was asking my husband if he already knew what he wants to order for his entree or if we should order the drinks first, Jeff said "I'm not rushing, but she (Hostess) literately just came to the bathroom and got me". Who says that? Anyway, we went ahead and ordered our food. When I told him I want to order the grilled cheese sandwich and applesauce for my son, he questioned me about it. He was like "Applesauce with the grilled cheese sandwich???" He said it in a way like that doesn't go well with each other. Why does he care what I order for my son? I think I know better what our son likes than he does. Then he came back to bring our beverages, he brought my husband the wrong drink. But we couldn't even tell him, because he was gone so quickly and for quite a bit. The manager brought our appetizer, so we asked him for the right drink. After a while, Jeff came back to the table and brought my husband his salad and the appetizer plates for our mozzarella sticks that we already finished and then came back with my husbands refill and it was the wrong drink again. While a few other tables around us got obviously way better service from their server, Jay, our server didn't even check on us to see if everything was okay. Instead, the hostess came and asked us if we were still okay. We were really disappointed about the service. Usually we are really generous tippers and leave at least 20% for gratuity, but this was the first time for us leaving a restaurant without tipping our server. Also what I noticed, during our dinner one of the hostess sat in the waiting booth with her legs up and being on her phone. I don't know if management doesn't care about this or not, but it really doesn't look good. If one of our staff was doing this, our manger would...
Read moreI have been to this restaurant plenty of times... sometimes wait for my food for more then it should... but I’m not the type to complain about a wait time my service was always good and made up for it... Saturday night I arrived around 10.. they was busy had to wait for a booth as I prefer.. no biggie.. I finally sit down my wife orders a beer I order a water.. anybody knows... usually a water comes first my wife received her beer before I got my water I finally received my water.. as we waited for my friends to arrive.. when arrived we went ahead and placed our order..I then ordered a alcoholic beverage.. with my order.. so we order two appetizers with are food about 20 mins later we receive well most of food.. first we didn’t even get our appetizer yet then me and my friend had yet to receive my drink nor her coke.. her food was missing bone side and her Mac and cheese had well was more of Mac then cheese... a steak that was ordered was suppose to be medium well and was more like medium rare.. my steak witch was suppose to be done was more like burned.. when also receiving our food we had no silverware to even begin eating our food.. we finally had more then enough and asked to speak to the manager.. we was more then starving and we started eating once we received our silver ware about 10 mins later and the steak sauce after asking for it 3 times.. once finishing our food the manager shows and constantly apologizing... I understand things get rough as I work in food.. but you always are suppose to make up for the complaint... they took the steak that my friend had ate on and cooked up on it so this means they took the plate back into the kitchen and put the steak he had ate off of and cooked it back on the same grill they cook other people’s food.. that is disgusting... too sum up my night I paid for the horrible service I had this night and to sum up the whole damn night my waitress couldn’t even get the tickets right and had to fix them not once not twice but three damn times.. mistakes happen but it’s hard to say if I will...

The hostess at Front Entry was not up to Hostess Standards with my family and I. My daughter has serious knee problem plus wears a brace, which make it hard for her to sit in a booth. This situation happen Easter Sunday Morning about 11am or a little there after. There were very few people already seated within Applebees, from my assumption were because of the earliness of time. Thinking this was good, because we could get in and out quickly, so we could get on with our day plans. So my daughter asked the front hostess, (I didn't get her name, maybe my girls noticed), if we could get a table to accommodate the 5 of us, with an uninviting attitude, she spoke, she didn't think so, but she would check, placed the Menus on the table, turned and walked away. My daughter was having knee pains and needed to sit, along with attempting to seat herself in the booth. The assigned very nice waitress, Brieanna came to the booth, very customer pleaser attitude, asked, "How may I serve you?" We asked her the same question for a table. Brianna responsed with "yes mame" turned to fill our request, meeting the hostess a step from our table. She communicated our request to her again and she said it couldn't happen, because there were a 12 people group coming in at 1pm and the tables were set for this group, remind you we were there between 11am and 1pm, which gave us enough time to complete our meal and be out the restaurant. We didn't understand the problem. We have been to different Applebees many time with less or more people and never had any situations with seating. Yet, because we had gotten seated in the booth we remain, located Brieanna and told her we would make do, because we were on a schedule, although it was not very pleasurable, and very discomfortable to my daughter. May I say, "Because of your waitress, Brieanna gentleness we had brunch and were out before 1pm."
