Big Papa Gyro — Restaurant in Huntsville

My husband and I just moved to the area and wanted some gyros so we tried this place! I ordered th chicken gyro plate, and my husband got the tilapia sandwich. After getting my order, she showed it to us to verify that everything was correct, and it seems like there might have been some miscommunication. I only eat chicken, and was showed my chicken gyro plate with gray looking meat. I asked if that was actually chicken and was told yes, but I think there was confusion with the staff when I asked. My husband tasted the meat and said it tasted okay, but that it was more lamb tasting than anything. Outside of the meat, the rest of the dish was delicious, but overall I was eating some veggies and rice at the end of the day. When asking the staff about the sauce that came with my meal, she said I had to pay extra. I had to explain it came with my meal, and she didn’t understand, so I pointed to the menu where it said it, and she had to ask someone else to help understand what I was saying. Just frustrating. My husbands sandwich was alright, just not super flavorful according to him, but both of us really enjoyed the fries!We had high hopes for this place! THE BEST GYRO I’VE EVER EATEN (being originally from Chicago)!! I was a little skeptical at first because the employees aren’t Greek. Upon entering I was promptly greeted and they were ready to take my order. I ordered the “Big Papa Gyro” w/ side of fries and an order of Hummus & pita bread. The gyro was more than a handful & mouthful!! Even the fries were crispy and made to perfection. The owner “Raul” was very courteous & helpful explaining to me the menu options. From the time I was given my receipt to waiting, was less than five minutes (I couldn’t believe how quick it was)! Raul checked up on me and explained how despite the employees not being Greek, the previous owner ensured they took over the business correct. They’ve got this down! The food presentation was so nice, I wanted to frame it on the wall. I couldn’t help but notice how immaculately clean everything is! Customer service was horrible. Mike, who took my order misunderstood what I said (even though it was one simple order straight from the menu). I tried to clarify and get him to remake what I actually ordered and he refused, because he had already made my wrong order. He actually looked at us and said, "Oh, so it's MY fault?!!?" I felt like I was in the twilight zone. He said he was the owner. After much deliberation, he finally said he would give me my money back, which my husband said that we would just take the money and re-order what I was supposed to have, so why not remake it? He finally did. It really upset me, as I am not a combative person at all and really hate any type of confrontations.
