You'll notice the prices at this store are lower. The very first time you enter it you'll feel like Walmart has been a sham all these years saying making your savings this that and the other :-). That shovel blue and yellow vest down your throat. Aldis is anti Walmart they do carry some of the usual us a food fair. Especially that with which is considered candy and items of which I can remember none at the moment... For everything in there that is of American descent there is 20 or 30 duramatic products which were made in the small-scale production facility with high quality standards and if there's an American counterpart I guarantee you the Aldi's brand will be a better value and of a nutrition.
The staff here is short quick and efficient. I don't mean that in the way of scalding the vertical leap but rather in the way they handle things. It staff member will always be at the front desk at least one register. However at all times they do not have both registers open. Often the case is that ask the store is open and running and often busy one of the staff members from the front cashier Position will be in the back restocking preparing and out loading Goods to be on the floors for sale. All these has some of the best home style German cookies and confectionaries that scene in years since finding similar products in Trader Joes. No this Trader Joe's yet not charging the quarter for a basket to shop with or $0.15 for a plastic bag to carry your product to the car and through your door eventually, they do however one charge many many dollars when you come down to the transaction total for the quality of service their employees provide. This European own chain is going for a different approach. They're trying to save you dollars instead of pennies and large amount of dollars instead of having a mathematician slash scholar as your individual...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe store and products itself are same or similar to most Aldi's that I have been to in SC, NC and Fl. However the management and staff need to work on their customer service. On my last visit the check out clerk threw my items into my cart. The Chicken started to leak the rest items I purchased and on the floor. When I brought it to her attention she informed me that it was leaking when she put it in the cart. I asked her why didn't she tell me it was and offered to replace it she just shrug her shoulders and said "I'm sorry" then continue to check customers out. She didn't offer to help me clean up the mess or replace anything. I actually had to ask her for antibacterial wipes to clean up. I was completely blow away by her lack of care. When I asked to speak to her manager she shocked and said I told you I apologized. I had request to speak to the manager 3 times. When manager finally arrived his response was similar to her's, he implied that I was dishonest since he wasn't here when it happened and didn't see anything and finally at that she didn't even work at this store she was just helping out. The whole incident was disappointing as I have been shopping at Aldi for years, it is one of my favorite grocery stores. I have shop at several locations throughout the south and this location has the worst customer service I have ever...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBUY EGGS AND MILK HERE!!! Last week, milk was about $0.99 and eggs were the low, low price of $0.28!! Unless you have your own cow and chicken, you WILL NOT find cheaper prices anywhere.
That's about the only thing I really buy there. Sometimes I'll chance it on their paltry warm beer selection because they'll have something foreign I've never tried before that's really cheap, but I think I'm done risking it. They usually taste terrible after I get them home and chilled. I have literally tried hundreds of beers from all over the world and those are the worst. Bleh!
Do your homework on some of the other items. The prices and/or package sizes aren't always the best deal you can find around town, but they often are.
Oh, and don't forget to bring a quarter and your own bags. That's how they save you money. The quarter is to rent a buggy while shopping, but you get it back when you return the buggy to it's rightful place!! That way they don't have to hire buggy-boys to corral them from the parking lot. And they don't have grocery bags at all, so you'll want something to put your stuff in for the ride home to keep it from rolling...
