I have a lot to say about this place, and everything is good about it! Staff was great. I'm pretty sure the gentlemen who checked us in proceeded by the name of Patrick. You can tell he had tons of experience. He was very professional. He checked us into room 411. He told us that he has visited room 411 a bit of times. Everything he said about it was great, and he wasn't lying. Our room was right off of the elevator, which is convenient. I'm pretty sure Patrick has worked here for years, because he knew about everything. Everything he told us is all true. Our room was very clean. The pictures make the hotel look kind of outdated, but if you look at them in person they're not really outdated. We had 1 king bed and a sofa bed. The bed was very comfortable, as well as the sofa bed. The hotel uses Direct TV, and it's very quality, especially for a hotel. Hotel room comes with a coffee maker and it makes good coffee. There were two phones in our room, and they both worked. Our room also came with a little closet, which is very helpful if you're staying for about 30 days. Shower is very spacious in bathroom. Bathroom had pretty good size sink. Water pressure was amazing! Water heats up very quickly. The hotel has convenient amenities outside of your room. I'm pretty sure on the first floor there is a vending machine, as well as laundry and ice. The 3rd floor also had laundry and ice. I used the gym some, it is a pretty good area. The breakfast area is spacious. There was breakfast. They didn't have a full meal due to the virus. They still served waffles, cereal, muffins, yogurt, fruit, coffee, juice & a little more. I read threw a lot 1 star reviews and I think the people putting one star reviews are probably just having a bad day. Anyways, the location was great! Tons of shopping, a couple ballparks, and a lot of restaurants close by. We ate at some of the places near, and they were all amazing! I really think you should stay here, it was just the best! Thank you Sleep Inn & Suites Huntsville Near U.S. Space & Rocket Center for serving my family! We will see you...
Read moreI have been a Choice Privileges Rewards member for the better part of 20 years and for the first 15 of those years, I was a very happy member. Then over the last 5-years or so, I have noticed that the quality of service and cleanliness has declined considerably. This sadly is the case at this Sleep Inn. I made my reservation online using the Choice Website. In the Past when arriving at the Hotel I was greeted and recognized as a Choice Privileges Member. This time as I walked in the door, the only greeting I received was a very curt “reservation?” When I replied yes, the only thing I got was “Last name and Credit Card.” Nothing else was said until the employee pushed the check-in sheet toward me, and said again very curt, “3-initials and a signature.” He then pushed the key across the counter without any further conversation. For the most part the room was clean and well attended except for the water filled plastic bag that was left in the Ice Bucket from the previous guest. I used my own personal small cooler rather than have any further interaction with the desk clerk. Before I made my reservation at this hotel, I read the reviews on both the Choice Website and on Trip Adviser. One of the reviews mentions a problem with the Internet Security Certificate being expired. That review was several months old, and I felt sure the problem would have been resolved. I was wrong. When I attempted to sign on to the network, I received the same message as the previous reviewer. I did inquire about the security issue with the curt desk clerk, who gave me the same excuse as the previous reviewer. “There is no problem, it has to be that way for public access.” The wi-fi for this hotel is a hacker dream and I chose not to use it. I found the Breakfast area to be well attended and well stocked throughout the advertised period. Not all employees at this hotel are rude and curt. The morning desk clerk greeted me cheerfully when I was checking out. Bottom line my experience at this Sleep Inn was sub-par to say the least and I would Not...
