Capriotti's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Huntsville

I attended the soft opening of Capriotti’s new location on Governors Drive in Huntsville. It was my first visit to a Capriotti’s, although I had heard good things from friends who had been to the Madison location. I ordered the Capistrami and my wife had the Wagyu Beef Cheesesteak. Both were excellent. I especially liked the coleslaw that came on the Capistrami and would definitely order it again. Excited to go back and try the Hot Bobbie sandwich that I’ve heard people raving about. I’m told they roast their turkeys in house daily, which is a nice touch. Terrible food. Brocoli soup tasted like the bottom of the barrel. Sandwich was thrown together and overly wet. Service was terrible. Food was served untimely, my husband's sandwich came way after mine so mine got soggy. When he did get his, they forgot his fries and mngr/owner said oh that's right. Never brought them so I had get up and get them. She gave me an attitude about them and asked me who the order was for. She wanted to charge me for something we had already paid for. We have been several times. Wagu beef is good, but I don't recommend getting a sandwich with it and the turkey together if you want to taste the beef. The turkey overpowered the beef. Also, it was a HUGE sandwich. I ordered a small, but a mini would have been just fine. The next time I went, I got the barbecue turkey salad.
