Carrabba's serves very good Italian food. I have eaten in a few different locations and never been disappointed. The entrance to this location is usually from the top deck of the parking lot. Parking is available outside the front door. The ambiance in the restaurant is enjoyable and comfortable. It is a little dark. The hostess was welcoming and friendly. On this occasion, I was by myself. I saw at the bar where there were plenty of chairs. The bartender was also the server because of my location. Service was excellent. I ordered Mama Mandella's chicken soup. It is always spicy and contains a good helping of chicken (of course), along with pasta, carrots and other vegetables. It is one of my favorite dishes here. I could easily enjoy a glass of wine and a bowl of Mama's chicken soup and leave fully satisfied. A basket of hot bread also came out with the spaghetti accompanied with olive oil and spices. Bread is always very fresh and there is plenty of it. I saved some to use with the bolognese sauce. For an entree, I ordered spaghetti bolognese. It was in a large bowl, served very hot and was, as expected, in a spicy meat sauce. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the flavor was excellent. There is a good wine list at Carrabba's and wine is available with a small or large pour or by the bottle.. There are several Italian wines available as well as American wine. Wines vary from inexpensive house wine to more desirable and more expensive wines. Some of the better wines are not available by the glass though. So, on this visit there was good food, good service, good wine and a pleasant ambiance. I do need to go back and expand my horizons though, perhaps an order of the Chicken Bryan which is also excellent in my experience.

We came here to celebrate a birthday and our waitress was absolutely amazing! Unfortunately I don’t remember her name so I can’t mention her, but she was very sweet and knowledgeable of the items on the menu. I got the Fettuccine Wessie sub Chicken instead of shrimp, which wasn’t the best idea. The pasta was amazing, and so was the chicken. But the flavors of the two didn’t mix right. I also got the tomato basil soup, and that was absolutely delicious it should be a permanent menu item everyday. There was one point when a manager came up to our table and made awkward conversation which appeared a little unprofessional. My boyfriend got the chicken parm, and the cheese looked a bit like melted plastic. The chicken tasted kind of old as well. However, the kids Chicken Fettuccine that a couple other people ordered was really good. They cleaned their plates. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, although it kinda smelled like expired cheese 😂 which was weird.

This is the first time I've ever been to this Carrabbas in Huntsville. We joined the wait list online at 5:20 and said our table would be ready at 6. Thankful the bartenders were super sweet and took care of us while we waited. We didn't get seated till 6:20 because 2 people out of our party of 8 were running late. We order more drinks and food by 6:35 and get the drinks along with the food by 7:35. Awful wait time while the waitress admitted she didnt check the bar for our drinks in the last hour. I ordered the lobster ravioli and it looked like this(i ate 2 ravioli because i was starving before i took the picture).... it was good but not worth $25 for 9 ravioli with no sauce and a cedar salad. Pretty disappointed with the overall service from waitresses, but bartenders were fantastic. I would recommend you find another Italian restaurant with better portion sizes, more sauce, better wait times, and waitresses who remember drinks....

What a disaster this place has become. It seems that they have gone the way of Chilis and other chains, although I always considered Carrabbas a higher caliber. Not anymore, prices are more, but the offering and value of what Im paying for has gone way down. Shrimp that came with my pasta, only had 5 shrimp, yet my wife who ordered another plate got more, and they even brought her more when she complained but when she told them that it was for my plate, they said, well, that plate only comes with five shrimp, so they were willing to give her more, and she had more than me to begin with, but they told me, my plate was limited to 5 popcorn shrimp (white pale grub looking things) mind you these shrimp are not even the normal butterfly large shrimp, (pink in color like all their photos) you get at a real seafood restaurant. These are the white grub looking things that have no grill marks, are soft, rubbery, and look like they came out of a bag that was steamed just before they threw them on your plate. This new method of providing food to consumers is pre-portioned, each portion comes in a bag likely, also likely heated in a bag, just like the sauce, then throw it together and call it cooking. It's really a tragedy that so many of the places I used to like have gone this way.

But look, I will be fine, I've already moved on, but I wont be back. This sadly is the new way to run a restaurant for a lot of place that care nothing about delivering a fair value of food and experience for dollars paid.

Also, I notice in this town that many people dont complain about food quality, but looking at what they are ok with, its clear they've never lived in a city with real competition, fine dining is completely alien to...

This was by far the worst experience my husband and I have ever had at this restaurant. The hostess said our wait time would be 15-20 minutes and we waited almost a full hour. There were people that came in after us that was seated so of course that did not sit well. Once we were seated we had to wait yet again for our server. Her name was Jasmine (black lady) or something, but she should not be a server. She rushed us through our ordering process, cut my husband off when he was asking about a food choice, gave us a wrong drink, barely checked on us during our meal. When our food came out it was blah and not very appealing looking. The mashed potatoes were garbage, Pork chops were overly seasoned and my Lasagna looked like it was just plopped on my plate. We had to flag her down to say something about our food and even then she looked annoyed that we were not happy. We understand we came the day before Mother's day but that should not affect the service. We ordered an appetizer that we never received and our server looked annoyed we asked for that to be taken off. We watched her interaction with all the other customers (white) and she was soo sweet and polite and then we got the different side. For what this visit was we should have just gone to Wendy's or Taco Bell. We probably would have had better service and spent way less. This has left a very bitter taste in my mouth and not sure if we will return anytime soon. If we do, we will make sure that lady is not our server. We would have asked to see a manager but that would have meant waiting yet longer...
