It's new and clean and the staff were very friendly during my evening meal. There was a group of approx 10 and it is 10:25 pm on a Friday nite. We waited at our table for a period longer than necessary. Our orders were given and I and the other 9 people began talking, laughing and having a fun experience. Our food began to arrive at our table. I'm hearing, my sandwich was no peppers and no onions. The waitress was sorry and she leaves our area. Shortly she appear and more errors in the orders as well as part of an order was given and consumed but other parts have not made it to our table. One man never received all of his order and he ate in sections, but never did get any part of his order correctly, not even how he wanted his eggs! Some of the friends just ate what she brought and stopped asking for anything other than coffee refills. At approximately 11:55 pm the doors were locked, it was Closing time ( they are NOT open 24/7 ). We were told by the store manager to take our time, there would be some noise ie; cleaning the dinning area and the kitchen. There was mention to this person about our service and food. He gladly took care to correct their bill and gave then a coupon for a free meal at no cost. He appologises and did not make excuses. I asked for my senior discount and she gladly took 10% from my ticket. We all discussed if we would come back again and we voted 80%t to 20% to give it another try. ToAfter church of that same week another group of 10 arrived for lunch, Easter late morning, seated in the same seats & tables same waitress. The Huddle House is full, people talking the atmosphere is on the loud side. People are arriving and placed on a call list. There was some confusion at first but soon the mgr. stepped in and had everything under control. Our food arrived at our table, every order appeared to be ok, some minor needs, ie; butter, diet pancake toppings, more drinks and coffee. This visit produced a much better review and having our orders correct with only a few minor adjustments. Our waitress was very keen to our needs for refills, added items of dessert and some plates to go. Over all the improvement was hands down at least a score of 97 from 10 different people and the items we ordered and the plates we received. Two ๐๐๐of 3. Thank you Huddle House for the much needed changes and the happy church goers have a new place to eat and have some quality time talking and...
ย ย ย Read moreWoke up early wand decided to get some breakfast. I went to Huddle House because it was close; I'm glad I did. The dining room is attractive and clean (precautions observed). My server took my drink order very quickly and brought me a cup of excellent coffee-maybe the best restaurant coffee I've had in a long while. I ordered the Western Omelette (hold the tomatoes), grits and a biscuit. The meal was served faster than I expected and they remembered to hold the 'maters. The omelette was very fluffy and cooked perfectly-no overdone brown spots on the eggs! Good proportions of ham, peppers, onions and cheese made it as tasty as it looked! the Biscuit was large and tasted like a biscuit should taste. The server brought some strawberry jam (which made the biscuit even better) and my choice of hot sauce for the omelette! My only minor complaint: the grits were a little "soupy" (IMHO, grits should be able to be eaten with a fork; thick like mashed potatoes). These tasted fine (with added salt, pepper and butter) but I had to use my spoon to eat them. My server was helpful and available with refills on the coffee and insuring that I had everything needed to enjoy my meal. I can recommend Huddle House wholeheartedly! I want to go back and try their lunch or...
ย ย ย Read moreWow. You place an online order, it confirms your order and tells you it will be ready in 10 minutes, and then you finally show up only to realize no one is at the restaurant. The lights are on as well as the tvs. You know what the only problem is. No one is inside. I placed an order at 10. Supposedly Huddle House doesn't close until 12 am. Why is it that at 10:10 there is no one there? Why are the lights on? Why did it let me put my order in the first place if the restaurant was unattended? This is bad service and overall poor. How can you let someone place an order and not even have anyone there? All the employees just left. No one is here. So I just spent $22 for a meal after working all day only to come to this. Rest assure I will never come to this Huddle House ever again. I just can't believe the audacity the employees and the management have with leaving the restaurant while it's technically supposed to be open. Before I leave this I have to make note that from the door I can see the computer screen in charge of taking orders. There are 4 others who placed meal. I am so mad at this moment I am trying my hardest to not...
