Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Huntsville

We love Jersey Mike's, not just for the food but for all the people that work there in Huntsville. We have to travel an hour, just to get a great sub. They are all so nice, so helpful, they take pride in their job, and it shows how good and sweet they are. It's why we don't mind making the drive, not only because how great the food is but the workers too. I am hoping the DM of that store reads this, I want him to know his Huntsville store people are great, I also would love it if he looked at bringing a Jersey's Mike's to Livingston Tx. Husband and I still will make the drive to the Huntsville store to see the people, but this town needs a Jersey Mike's. We don't have a good sub place to eat at in this town, we have nothing but chicken. I really think it would do great and being right off the exit with Lake Livingston visitors and the Casino visitors along with the regular residents. Please Mr DM, take a look around here. I never have a bad experience here. I'm always, always greeted when I walk in the door which is such a little detail which makes such a difference, and I feel like it's kind of falling by the wayside. The manager at this location has a great attitude with infectious enthusiasm. Everyone is always professional and happy to help out. I've done years of work in food service so I know it's not always the most fun or stimulating job but everyone here really steps it up to give you a good experience. Well my last visit was definitely not a good one compared to normal. I walked in later in the day to satisfy my craving for the club sub but was kind of shocked when I saw that they were out of lettuce and only had scraps of bacon left and didn't seem to plan on making more. I'm not sure how they handle these things but there is a grocery store very close to grab some lettuce at and cooking a little more bacon should have been do able. They simply told me they were overly busy this particular day and ran out. Needless to say it left a bad taste in my mouth that a company this large and with such a great mission statement had...
