LawLers Barbecue — Restaurant in Huntsville

I like this place so much that I wrote both Lawlers and the now defunked Gibsons bbq a letter to tell them. Lawlers took the time to respond, Gibson’s did not.

I first had Lawlers back when their Airport Rd location was new. Food is always good, flavorful and filling. The variety is endless and the meat speaks for itself. I love their sandwiches, I love their stew and I love those lil piggy stuffies. (Sorry piggies but i really do). My one regret is that it is sunday so i will have to wait another day. Now that Gibson’s is gone could you make a peanut butter pie and a chess pie?????

EDITED: Pick up of online orders needs improvement. my pickup time was for 17:37. I got in the drive in line at 17:36. I didn’t get to the window to pick up the food until 18:10. I don’t know if they do things differently inside but while waiting in line I was able to see the line inside was to the front door.

The purpose of online ordering is not only to have your food ready when you get there but also avoid waiting in line. It doesn’t make sense to order online if your food is going to sit for 30 min. The food did suffer all the built up condensation in the box and I paid a service fee for the order.

I suggest a couple designated pkg spots w a number to call and let them know that you’re there for pickup. Again, I don’t know how they run things inside but if you have to wait in a long line it’s...

LawLers Barbecue is a true Southern BBQ chain. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The food is always hot and fresh. I am always on the go and usually don't have to for a sit in meal at the restaurant so I usually get the pulled pork by the pound which is so good I have it for lunch several days in a row.

But my favorite is the Pork Nachos!!! They are always hot, cheesy and fresh. The Nachos include round crunchy corn chips, pulled pork, cheese, sour cream and Jalapeno peppers. I love the flavor of the peppers but cannot eat them due to the heat. The Nachos are a substantial lunch meal and reasonably priced at $6.97. It also comes with a small cup of tangy BBQ sauce.

An additional cup of BBQ sauce is only $.30. Lawlers has the best, fresh sweet tea. If you like Southern BBQ for just you or the whole family visit one of Lawlers many locations in Huntsville and the surrounding area. ...

My husband and I had planned a very short notice picnic with our kids this Saturday for Mother’s Day and we had decided to eat Lawlers for our outing! My husband and I walked into the spotless, deliciously smelling establishment on South Parkway and we were not disappointed! The staff was super friendly and very helpful! Heather, the cashier addressed our questions and even helped us get what we wanted even though it wasn’t exactly on the menu. We came in around 3 o’clock and business in the drive thru started to pick up while they were working hard to make our food, no one stressed out or even raised a voice! We will definitely be coming back and recommending this business to anyone who says they are looking for a place to eat!! Thank you to the entire restaurant on South Parkway in Huntsville Al!!
