Me and some coworkers went here for lunch. I was told this was a dinner with some Korean food added in. We were promptly seated and handed one hand written daily menu with the Meat Special of the day (which was Meatloaf), along with the available sides. There were two menus clipped to the wall but three members in our party. I stole one from a nearby table without anyone noticing. The prices seemed very reasonable ($10~) for most lunch items. They serve Coke products (no Coke Zero, sadly). Our orders were promptly taken. I ordered some 'Pot Sticker' (4) with soy sauce and a Club Sandwich. I usually order a Club Sandwich to evaluate a diner, but I'm also a fan of Pot stickers and a fatty so I grabbed some of those as well. My faithful companions ordered a Happy Burger and a Philly Cheese Steak. The sandwiches didn't say that they came with fries (unlike other menu items), so that was an unexpected bonus. The wait staff was pleasant but not exactly friendly. My food came out after an interminable time. The Pot sticker was... not good. Probably the second worst Pot stickers/dumplings/goyza that I've ever had. My wife is half asian and her mom ran multiple Chinese food restaurants whens he was growing up, so I eat them.fairly often both frozen and in restaurants (as well as home made when I visit the Mother in Law) and these dumplings were bad. The 'soy sauce' was worse. I could only identify it as soy sauce because the menu said the pot stickers came with soy sauce. When I dunked half a pot sticker in the sauce it came up stained black like a sinners soul and the sauce tasted like fish sauce or motor oil. To sanity check, I insisted one of my coworkers also try one and they were also repulsed. Said it was horrible. The rest of the food (at least main courses) were great! I enjoyed my club sandwich a lot. Little small, but cheese was melted and it was delicious. Fries looked like Ore-Ida very bright yellow) and came out without salt or seasoning but that was something I could fix with three generous shakes of a salt shaker. My companions enjoyed their meal (a Happy burger and a Philly cheese steak) a lot. One said the Philly cheese steak was 7 or 8/10, the other said the burger was one of the best he'd had. The interior was a little hot and stuff, interior a little dirty/greasy -- very much a 'greasy spoon'. There's a great value proposition as long as you avoid asian food, and the main courses are tasty. Give it a shot at least once.

Little Diner is a special diner hidden away at 1219 Jordan Lane, Huntsville, Alabama 35816. It is indeed a little diner. It seats between 15 - 20 customers. It has a large menu for different breakfast options as well as appetizers and everyday specials. The grill is small but is able to prepare multiple meals at once. The food is well prepared to order. Despite the large menu I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage, egg and cheese. It was hot and flavorful. The diner is short staffed and desperately needing additional staff. But the staffing did not slow down the cook, waitress , cashier and manager all in one from getting the orders out in a timely manner. If you want a great home cooked meal I would encourage you to try the Little Dinner.

Best burger I've had in months! Don't be fooled by their rough and tumble exterior, rather consider the size of their lunch crowd. That's the true way to measure the quality of a restaurants food. If you require a sterile environment to relieve yourself I would suggest staying home or reevaluating your life choices. There is a restroom at this location, if your scheduling your time properly you won't need to use this on. More than fair prices. You won't leave hungry. The staff is friendly and courteous. I will be going back. If you don't go it's your loss not theirs.

UPDATE 8-29-2024 Consistency exists here! Once again, I had a very enjoyable meal. The lady that took my order could not have been nicer. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Thank you.

UPDATE 10/12/22 Another GREAT lunch meal! Took a friend of mine and he was floored by the catfish lunch plate. I had the hamburger steak with delicious fries, onions and gravy. VERY GOOD and super nice staff. A low key must do spot in Huntsville. Food was to good to take pictures! ALL GO AND NO SHOW!

Super nice people and the food is rather good as well. I had the 'Happy Burger' and it was very, very good. I could not eat it like a traditional burger due to the size. Meat was well cooked and fries were crispy as ordered. My server was wonderful, regrettably I did not get her name... :-( Might have to give it a go during the week. Worth trying. As an aside, I don't know where all the folks with negative reviews ate at, because everyone on the staff went out of their way to be nice? Your results may vary. Remember always that your attitude determines...

Little Diner is an apt name for this place. It feels homey and the staff is friendly, providing a down-to-Earth experience that isn't as common as you might think these days. It's completely unpretentious, with their food served on paper plates with plastic cutlery. Paper towels hang from dispensers on the wall. Their sweet tea is well balanced, not cloying but still plenty sweet to satisfy a Southerner. But what made me go to Little Diner is the talk about their burgers. Little Diner is THE place to go if you're in the mood for a fantastic home cooked burger. I had the Happy Burger and it definitely lived up to its name. Two thick patties of all meat, no filler, made this a huge lunch. It's perfectly balanced with just the right amount of lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard, and cheese. The fries are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. If you want home cooking done right, you have to give this...
