I've been a google.reviewer for many years, slowly working myself into the top 10 percent of food reviewers. Let that sink in before I lay out my review of this place..
By far the worst service and customer experience from the food industry I have EVER experienced. I went to this establishment 6/17/2024 with a prepaid order that I ordered online. I did this because I had been traveling all day and felt my sugar dropping. I am not diabetic but have really high insulin levels from a rare autoimmune disease. I knew I had enough time to get there and it would be one of the few places that were open. I waited 42 minutes..42 minutes for 5 cars in front of me. And once youre in line you are blocked in and stuck. When I got to the window there was a white gentleman working and two black gentlemen, one of them bald and one wearing braids. The gentleman with braids opens the window I tell him I'm here for an online order. Now mind you there is not a single car behind me this man tells me I have to go to the other side. I said why? He said because that's what I said. I said we'll that defeats the purpose of paying online and he slams the window closed. Mind you they have music blaring out of the windows just acting like they are having a party in there. I'm livid at this point and drive to the other side and there is about 7 cars there. I'm feeling quite sick by this moment as my sugar is dangerously low. I drive back around and guess what now there are 3 cars there and I wait another 30 mins. I'm on the phone with corporate by this time because I know this man is fixing to be incredibly rude to me. I get up to the window this man starts acting absolutely retarded then tried to tell me he does not have my order then starts screaming at me, BYE ... BYE...LEAVE.. mind you I am on the phone with corporate and they ask me to get the man's name. He refuses to give it. Him and the bald guy are now cutting jokes and blatantly laughing at me. I am explaining to the corporate man I cannot leave my sugar is dangerously low I won't get far I will crash. Now the man inside is telling me he is calling the police, the corporate man tells me to just leave. I made it barely passed sonic before I had to call 911. I literally could have died!! That is no joke this is very very serious and your worker did not care. I did nothing to this gentleman except question this other side policy he is speaking of and he lost it as soon as I questioned him. This is my official way of saying you can expect a lawsuit and the whole verbal footage and partial video was caught on my dash cam.
Oh here's the funny part about it I have to wait up to 7 business days for them to even give me my money back. They can take my money, yet provide horrible customer service, verbally attack me, and refuse my order when I'm clearly telling them I am dangerously ill.
Go back through my years of reviews and let me know where you seen a bad review. I'll wait. I normally don't leave them when they are bad I only write good reviews. So when I tell you this is how serious I am about this experience I had last...
Read moreDo not apply here. I was told I’d have a Management job, relocated my physical address a hr to Huntsville. Went to the location sat for an hour. The general manager gets there and she’s wearing green crocks, trash all over the parking lot. I proceeded to go ahead and see what the job was about. Inside was just as filthy, The freezer was at 68• nothing inside was dated timed or looked edible… there were critical food safe violations galore. There was no training no paperwork no uniforms no management whatsoever … I have a medical condition where I have to eat, me needing to check my glucose made the GM upset. I go out grab a bite and check my glucose, they left me locked out for an hour a process that should take no more than 7min. Eco Labs showed up while I was outside, general manager comes to the door had all over the place net hanging to the side of her ear and says why you gotta get us after a rush (guys they had maybe 5 cars) slams the door in his face. They proceed to try cleaning up and we’re left another 10min to stand and talk. I apologized to the man as he stated that won’t fly with the health department. They proceed to make an 87 and that was the man being nice after he was just told to (F off). I proceed to finish out the shift, I was told to start with I’d be working every day the GM was working… she then told me to come in Wednesday (that was Monday) I take off Tuesday go up there Wednesday and same story I’m there at 7:45 am waiting to clock in at 8:30 I sit and wait and no one shows up. I ran to get an energy drink bc I can’t get in the building and no one’s there. I get back (they don’t open until 10) and I’m left standing at the door another 15 min by this time it’s 9:10am. The GM then comes to the door and says oh you’re not working today. I was hired by the owner and the owner never bothered to even reach out. I didn’t do anything wrong. I was only there one day. The utter lack of disrespect was completely unprofessional, and the business owner seems to be pretty OK with it considering.

Read moreYesterday, I pulled up to place my order and waited behind the vehicle in front of me ordering for about 5 minutes while the order was slowly requested. At this point, I knew that I should have gone somewhere else since the vehicle at the window didn't get their order during this time.
I pull up to order at 12:33. After waiting behind the first vehicle, I thought I'd see how long this process took and if my craving for those amazing french fries was worth it. I sat there as the first vehicle received their order and continued to wait a couple of more minutes before I finally was requested for my order at 12:39.
My order was simple enough: Cheese Champ Combo. I requested it with only cheese, and the cashier verified I wanted only cheese. I get told my order and pull forward preparing for the long wait.
When I pull forward, there are 3 vehicles in front of me. I finally get my turn at the window at 12:58 (25 minutes after I ordered). I pay and then continue to wait for my order. I receive my order at 1:02 and head back to work...in a hurry because I didn't expect a 30 minute detour waiting on slow service.
I happily start munching on the fries which are just as delicious as what i remembered (it's been years since i've lived in an area with a Checkers). I am roughly 10 minutes away when I grab for my burger and see that it is indeed NOT only cheese.
I knocked off 2 stars for the horrendously slow service and another 2 stars for getting my super simple order wrong. I did add a star because the cashier was super pleasant.
