I once again tried to see how the service would be towards me after a few times they've failed each time. I don't expect a red carpet greeting or farewell, though I at least deserve a thank you for your order, or "have a good day" even if you do not mean it. Which says a lot about the service atmosphere and the way you food will taste to the customer. I have not even received a smile, they're more interested in personal conversations rather than the customer who's spending hard earned money and adding on things also donating to their cause. It hurts that I have to look into a mirror and not even receive a greeting. Even if I say have a great day, it is ignored and they return to their personal conversations. This is the popyes on 11th street by the big boot 👢. I don't know if I will be going there for a while, and if you are interested in subpar chicken hiked up prices and bad attitudes to customers who they don't even know, I'd chose the chicken spot a few blocks further, at least they will greet you offer you their daily deals and even say goodbye. I don't only order food for eating, I order food so I can review the restaurant and let my fellow hungry people how it is before they turn their bad day into an ugly experience that they have to endure, through the food handled by the rude people preparing their food. Energy transfer is real, it is tasted in the food. I will guarantee anyone who has ever had bad service, they remember the service as they eat the food they spent money on. Please do better!, not for me, for the establishment and for yourselves. You never know who you will meet or...
Read moreIf we could rate a 0 star we would. Pulled up, began giving the gentlemen our order, halfway through was interrupted and told to pull forward for the total, we had not finished our order. Pulled forward, waited a few minutes and the gentlemen came to the window and told us the total, in which we had to say “we needed to add a drink to one of the dinner and a side of red beans an rice” he shut the window and walked off. Came back with a new total and still hadn’t asked which drink. Gave us back the card, then asked about the drink. When we checked the receipt and asked, since it was not rang up, that the 3 piece was spicy! He said yes. When our order was ready it sat on the counter and we walked in to use the bathroom and saw our bag! We walked back to the truck and checked the meals, only to find the 3 piece was mild, the 5 piece was spicy and we had recieved 3 packs of sauces when we asked for extra before pulling forward to wait for our food! We walked back in to state the errors and instead was told we were wrong, and we could bring it in to be corrected. Horrible customer service, no sense of respect for us wanting to spend our money in their business. Felt like a total inconvenience by us...
Read moreNormally I would rate this Popeyes higher. I always dined in where missing items are easily corrected. However, with COVID-19 protocols in place and the dining room closed to customers...but not to all of the employees who are leaving there drinks and half eaten food at each table (looks like they had customers or a party) one must drive through and order/pick up their food. Today we ordered our meal to go and left without checking the order. To our dismay we found that none of the requested condiments were placed in the bag; furthermore, when ordering the red beans and rice, as well as the mashed potatoes and gravy, they did not provide any plastic spoons or forks. It just seems that if you would only serve food to go that you would provide the paying customer with what they requested and continue with providing a way to eat it. Perhaps I am expecting too much these days. It seems like you would still want the dining room clean, customers to have flatware just as was provided pre-COVID, and double check all to go orders. But I guess some liberties can be taken with customer service when your food is so good the customer will...
