I placed an online order through Popeyes for a 12pc family meal. Online I was given the option to customize my chicken choices without extra charge. When I picked up my order I realized my order was incorrect so I went back in the store to have my order fixed. When I walked in a young lady asked what she could do for me and I told her “I placed an online order and my order is wrong.” Then another lady who I assume is the manager named brandy immediately turned around and knew what was wrong with my order before I specified what was wrong and told me “we charge extra for custom orders and you didn’t pay extra.” I explained that I paid for the order online. She told me that they charge extra so the order couldn’t be fixed and I basically had to either suck it up or buy more chicken. I ended up paying more money for 6 pieces of chicken and she charged me for two meals instead of just 6 pieces of chicken. Brandy was extremely rude and dismissive. She withheld my correct order because she felt like since I didn’t pay extra I shouldn’t have my order done correctly and refused to fix my order even though I can’t control what they do online.the online app gave the option for customization and they didn’t charge extra. That’s not my fault as a customer, but my order should still be filled correctly and a manager should not be on such a power trip that she refuses to fill the order correctly and accuse me of not paying (yes she accused me of not paying for the extra chicken.). The saddest part about this whole encounter is that I drive 45 minutes out of my way because this is usually the best Popeyes around. But unfortunately the unprofessional and accusatory behavior was enough to never bring me back. I paid $50 dollars for a meal that usually costs me $35. I have never met a manager who acted the way she did. She knew exactly what was wrong with my order before I even explained, which leads me to believe she fixed my order how she saw fit because she didn’t think it was right I wasn’t charged extra and became defensive and rude because she knew what she had done and I asked for it to be fixed. The biggest issue isn’t the money it’s the behavior exhibited by your manager. Professionalism...
Read moreI went to this location for the first time on May 31, 2018 after having been disappointed at the other 2 locations in the area. BIG MISTAKE! This was by far the worst location yet! I placed my order through the drive through. The lady who took my order was unprofessional, rude and was rushing me like she had better things to do. They gave me part of my order wrong, I mean completely wrong. When I addressed it with the cashier she responded with attitude, "Did you place your order or somebody else?" I am thinking, WHAT? I handed her back the items that were wrong as she turned toward the kitchen and screamed out, "This lady said she didn't order this!" It took 2 people to figure it out. Then the lady at the window's friend drove up and parked her car on the side of my vehicle, got out and they shook hands and exchanged what appeared to be a small bag/envelope of drugs. WTH. I will never, I repeat, NEVER PATRONIZE ANOTHER POPEYE'S IN HUNTSVILLE! EVER! Who does that? How can every location in this area be filled with rude, incompetent and unprofessional people, unbelievable! The sad things is my food was hot and good! Who would patronize a place that treats their customers like garbage and is poorly managed. I called and reported it to corporate and the representative taking my complaint couldn't even get my order straight. I am starting to think Popeye's has just declined all together. He kept stating over and over again, "...An alleged drug deal..." Okay mister well you eat there! These folks at these locations acting like characters from Love and Hip Hop, No thank you, I like my ratchet on T.V. not at my local...
Read moreMy wife placed the food order 20 minutes before my arrival, as I had just completed a 12-hour shift. Assuming the food was already prepared, I was mistaken. I waited for over 20 minutes for two small meals. Despite arriving before four other guests, I was the last to receive my food. I am uncertain who is responsible for this operation, but customer service is severely lacking. It is perplexing that making a total of 10 chicken fingers requires a college degree. Given the time it took, I could have completed an application and placed my order myself. Customer service is a crucial aspect of any establishment, and none was available. Furthermore, I did not receive my biscuit, and they were out of sauce. I understand that work can be challenging for many individuals today, but going the extra mile to provide a single biscuit was an arduous task. Perhaps addressing inventory and customer service issues would prevent such occurrences. However, it is a challenging task to package chicken and deliver it...
