Food: As people unfamiliar with the cuisine, the menu that was handed to us didn't have any explanations on what things were, how they were served etc., so we had to pull up the menu on their website which had more detail. I ordered the Mustang Aloo and Chili Paneer for a starter, great flavors, excellent spice. My husband ordered the Chicken Choila Sittan which came out cold. We used Google and found out that Choila can be served room temperature or chilled, which was not on their menu or on the online menu. I had the Butter Chicken and Biryani which was AMAZING. The curry was so creamy and delicious and the Biryani was aromatic and flavorful! 10/10.
Service: We did have to ask a few times for more water and the servers where all standing behind the bar in a group talking. The bathroom was also messy, toilet paper on the floor water everywhere. Having enough servers to stand around talking, someone could have checked the bathroom. If you have enough time to lean you have time to clean! But that's my own pet peeve.
Atmosphere: Came to Nimto for an early dinner, around 5pm on a Saturday with my husband. Not too many people inside, so we were seated right away. Interior was nice, dim but not too dark. The music was a little loud, I found myself speaking louder than I usually do and asking the servers "huh?" multiple times just because I couldn't hear. Over all a well designed restaurant.
All in all, I will definitely be back if for nothing else than the...
Read moreWe recently visited this Nepalese-Indian restaurant after hearing great things about their food and atmosphere, and overall, it was a good experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with live music performed by a very talented artist, which added to the charm of the evening.
As for the food, we tried several dishes, and some were absolutely outstanding: •Chicken Momos – Hands down, one of the best we’ve ever had! Perfectly cooked with flavorful fillings. •Mutton Sekuwa – Well-marinated and cooked to perfection. •Lamb Chops – Simply delicious, tender, and bursting with flavor.
However, the one dish we wouldn’t recommend is the Biratnagar ko Machha (fish dish). It wasn’t just spicy 🌶️ it was overpoweringly hot to the point where it overshadowed the flavors. The taste was also a bit unusual, and it didn’t meet our expectations. I know it because I am from Biratnagar. In terms of service, it was a mixed experience. Our server was very polite and kind, making us feel welcome. However, when she wasn’t around and we asked another staff member for assistance, they came across as rude and unhelpful, which was disappointing. The space itself is small but cozy, and while it wasn’t too crowded during our visit, it still had a lively yet intimate vibe. Overall, I would definitely recommend trying this place at least once, especially for the atmosphere and their best dishes.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (3/5) Would we return? Yes, but we’d skip the...

I recently visited Nimto Nepalese and Indian Restaurant & Bar in Hurst, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality, and the ambiance was a perfect blend of cozy and cultural.
Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! I tried their momo (Nepalese dumplings), and they were some of the best I’ve had in the DFW area. The flavors were rich, the chutney had the perfect spice level, and each bite was simply delightful. I also ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan, and the creamy, flavorful curry paired perfectly with the soft, fresh naan.
The drink selection at the bar was impressive, with a great mix of cocktails and traditional beverages. The Nepali-style cocktails were a unique touch and added to the authenticity of the experience.
Service was fast and friendly, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Whether you’re looking for a casual dinner, a fun night out, or just craving authentic Nepalese and Indian flavors, Nimto is the place to go!
Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely...
