this is the fourth time in the last six months that I have been to Long John Silvers, especially during lent. I honestly almost contacted your company to have all my money returned to me for those four orders. I don't mind paying $30 for something, but I expect to get what I pay for. Not only that we were sitting at the window as they were cooking it. They literally had fish frying in there retainer and took a bottle of oil and poured it in there while it was cooking. I ordered coleslaw with our meal, no hush puppies and the fish and the chicken platter., most of the time we get two of those, with sides of two pieces of chicken and two extra piece of fish. When we got home, everything was in the bag. There was no lobster, the fish literally when you laid it down on the plate grease ran out of it. The chicken could not even be eaten. I called the store and was literally told. nothing would be returned, and they would replace the coleslaw that was missing if I'd like to come get it. I honestly didn't go back, and I will tell people about it with the economy the way it is $30 for two people is one thing but when you got a family of four or five and you get home and nothing is rightand the food cannot be eaten for the way it was cooked. You guys have a real problem at your Hutchinson, Kansas long John Silver. I don't even think I can bring myself to eat knowing I've been treated that way and what they do to others and then not say anything. I too have a business and I would never ever treat my customers that way. When you have four employees in there when cooking pouring in the grease trying to run the window and the cash register one standing at the back door, smoking a cigarette. I should know better because I used to see limes at your window, if you lived here, you would not see those lines anymore when I go by it's mostly employees cars. That's sad with the respect of the name of long John silvers that they would allow us to happen. I know it's not the company's fault but I know the franchise that has it now is not handling it properly. I thank you for your time. I do have photos and videos, but I was asked not to show them. I will honor that. It's just sad that my family can't go to a place that they love so well, due to the fact, knowing what it's gonna be like when you get a home.Someone from your corporate office needs to come and talk with management, as management myself I would consider it doing real promptly and setting things like this happened. Read moreI stopped by for dinner at 5pm, at the time I was the first car in the drive thru. I waited several minutes to give my order, paid at the window and was parked as there were 2 other cars behind me. After waiting 15 minutes the man that came to deliver my food asked me what I had ordered so I repeated it and he handed me a bag and I left. When I arrived home I realized I had never gotten a drink and my meal was missing the cole slaw and the 3 additional shrimp I ordered. Since I live out of town I called and was told this was their biggest rush time and they apologized and offered me a free meal for lunch the next day.
Today, I stopped by at 11am for my lunch. As I pulled into the drive thru I saw 2 employees out back smoking. When I pulled to the speaker the man said it will be "awhile" then left the mic open so I could hear them yelling and talking inside. He proceeded to take my order and I explained the situation he told me I would have to come inside to speak to the manager. I told him I was on my lunch and in a hurry and didn't want to come inside, could he have the manager come speak to me. He laughed and said I shouldn't have come first thing in the morning then.
I went inside to speak to the manager, having to park in the middle of the drive thru because I was blocked in. I was told nothing was ready and they would need to cook my food. I mentioned to the manager the rude remarks the man on the speaker had said but she didn't address it or apologize. I got my food, which was good and the order was correct, but the management and employee attitudes are abysmal. Won't be back.

Read moreI was so very disappointed eating here. I don't know what has happened to this place. There food used to be good. Now there food is not the same as it used to be. There chicken planks were more like nuggets. But the most troubling was inside was very dirty and there were about 4 girls working there and not a one of them had a hair net on. After I placed my order I waited for my food and watched the employees scrambling around running into each other in such a small space. Then I noticed that some guys had come in the back door and they too were now in the back cooking area. And it looked to me like it was there boyfriends. After waiting for aprox 20 minutes for my food one of the girls bring my order and I start checking to make sure it's all there and I med I noticed items were missing so I told the employee and she proceeded to argue with me about my order. Clearly you could read the menu and see my order and what I was supposed to get, but she wouldn't look at the menu and the wording and see what items I was still owed. It became such a mess and I got upset and left. When I got home I pulled everything out of the bags and was still missing several items .. I will never give them my money again. The employees were disrespectful and rude. Not to mention I paid 40 bucks to not have my order corrected, and the employees didn't care about the customers at all.
