Fatburger & Buffalo's Express — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

I have been waiting for this place to open all summer! I was very excited because I love Fatburger … I really loved the one that was on 95th by Evergreen Plaza and all the out of town locations so I did have great expectations for this place. I got to this location, It was very busy but I didn’t care because I wanted the burger…waited 30 minutes… they didn’t get my order right the first time, I returned to let the staff know, the guy told me he was going to remake all three of my burgers, that was perfect since now all my other food is gonna be cold. When I received my bag I only had two of my burgers remade ok , but still had to turn around and come back because they were still made incorrectly. Now the guy wants to argue with me and tell me that I said I had 1 burger that was correct but he told me he was going to remake all three and they were still wrong so I didn’t see the point he was trying to make, also the owner is there saying maybe we can’t meet her needs like her staff didn’t mess my food up twice. Like it was my fault. On top of that the little piece of burger that I did taste had no seasoning just tasted like charbroiled beef. I would not be back to this location. I would rather drive all the way to Orland Park. Too bad it’s so difficult to support our Black businesses sometimes. They’re definitely tainting the Fatburger name with this horrible food and the experience. I have never written review but this experience had me feeling like I should...

I didn't even know a Fatburger existed in our community however thanks to social media I became aware that we had a Fatburger in the neighborhood on 87th and Cottage Street and that they were giving away free burgers of course I went for my free Burger... had already been set in my mind that I was going to have to wait a long time because of course they're giving away something free in our community and everyone is going to be there. However when I walked up the line wasn't long it all. I'd estimate 40 guest waiting to get the FREE BURGERS staff came out passed out coupons for the BURGERS staff apologized for the wait time however it's FREE there was absolutely no apology needed in my opinion. The line moved quite quickly to me being as though she was giving away hundreds of free BURGERS long story short Burger was delicious service was amazing funny thing about it I didn't even get the free Burger my patience is hairline thin I wound up just walking in and purchasing myself the burger and onion rings and a strawberry lemonade and everything was amazing I...

My first Experience at “Fat Burger “ non the less was def an experience .

The customer service was actually pleasant, the cashier was polite . They Repeated my order to me about 5 times with trusted reassurance that everything was going to be orderly just the way I said it .

I ordered both meals with the simplest ingredients Xtra Mustard- Ketchup- and Mayo just to come home in excitement for the meal to be nothing and not even close to what I requested .

Funny enough the cashier did her job , as shown everything on the receipt is correct - but as for the cooks the amount of money that was paid for these meals, are indeed a great disappointment of wasted funds and taste buds to not follow the descriptive ticket order .

For this food to be dollars away from a $60.00 tab in a fast food joint for 2 people is Insane - just to come home to cold fries and burgers that were not even anything close to what was originally ordered .

I can say though the Maui Banana shake is def worth coming back for at least but this restaurant is still not worth any...
