I come here, not often, but it’s been an ok place. The issue is the girl who takes the phone orders most of the time. Today, I asked for a chicken noodle soup and I asked to please add vegetables. She paused and said it already comes with bok Choi. So I explained that I knew but I would like other vegetables. Again she paused and asked what vegetables. Confused I said I don’t know… a mix of vegetables like carrots and before I could say zucchini, broccoli or anything else, she said… we don’t have vegetables. Surprised, I asked you have NO carrots?? She said no, do you still want it? Well, I had already made up my mind on what I wanted to eat so I said yes. She then said anything else? We have a minimum $5 purchase. I knew what she meant… but I told her no, I’m paying cash. So she said ok 10 minutes. Her phone manner is very dry, bland, as if it’s a bother every time I come in. When I arrived, I waited in my car for 15 minutes and still when I came in, she had me wait cause she couldn’t find the soup. I might need to rethink my options in Chatham. There’s got to be another place where the service is more cordial. We own businesses and understand how one employee’s attitude can hurt the whole operation. I'm starting to get anxiety every time I come here bc she acts so angry over everything. She acts like she doesn't want to be there. And she has an inpatient attitude about everything. I'm tired of the bad vibes and feeling like I'm not wanted and the nasty attitude when I ask about substitutions or questions about ingredients. Done. If you can't provide more pleasant customer service don't open a restaurant. Go somewhere else. Won't ever be back. It's a matter of respect and I feel like they think we don't deserve their patience and respect. Just want our money and don't want to give more courteous customer service. Tired of it. Read moreif i could give this place 0 stars, i would. my dad went here today for lunch and asked for beef fried rice, they asked if he wanted combination or shrimp fried rice; he said no because he's allergic and to please please please put NO shrimp in his rice. they said ok but when he got his order and started eating it, he started to cough and felt his throat start to feel tight. he combed through his rice and found small cut up pieces of shrimp. he didnt have an epipen on him and the person he was with had to race to the closest walgreens to buy one and inject him. now not only will we NEVER eat here again, he will never eat chinese food again because he is scared of something like this happening to him again. who knows who else they've done this to. also i am going to keep posting my review where ever is available because people...
