My wife and I were exhausted this evening and bought salads for delivery. We purchased through the Sweetgreen app, and Sweetgreen subcontracted with DoorDash for delivery. The delivery driver got lost. When the order finally arrived, they delivered someone else's salads — food we could not even eat due to allergies. We called the store — no one picked up. We used customer service through the Sweetgreen app. They initially refused to issue a refund because the order was within the delivery window and "might" still be delivered (it wasn't). They have now, allegedly, agreed to issue a refund. Sweetgreen's in-app customer service was very clearly run by some kind of LLM contraption. If we received had received the wrong order and Sweetgreen had corrected the issue, whatever, stuff happens, not worth getting angry about let along writing a lengthy online review. Instead, what happened was Sweetgreen made us jump through a bunch of hoops, tried to blame the issue on DoorDash (their subcontractor, their responsibility), refused to take responsibility, and then finally agreed to issue a refund but did not even do so much as to offer us to get our salads. This is not rocket science! Mess up order, fix problem, all good. I have worked many jobs and made many mistakes, including food service. That's the way. Instead, we got a surprisingly convoluted and difficult path to resolve such a simple and obvious mistake. I mean, how many photos of an order are necessary to receive before someone looks at the name and the contents and concludes in three seconds it's someone else's salad? That's just ridiculous. Man. Way to go your of your way to...
Read moreI don’t know what is going on in this place! Came here today for a salad. They don’t have cucumbers and tomatoes or hard boiled eggs! I’m so confused! This is a salad restaurant but don’t have the things to create a salad. Also, kale and spring mix looks like it’s been two day’s. The employee Daisy had such an attitude it was unreal. As soon as I hit the door she had an attitude because it was 45 minutes before closing. I actually apologized for even coming. I’ve been to other locations but this lady wanted to charged me for extra lettuce bread crumbs and salt and pepper! I said other locations don’t charge for pepper she said it was a dollar. By the time she got done with my salad it was $49!!! The salad was so skimpy it was ridiculous! Then soon as I got home and took two bites iit was DISGUSTED Never again!!will have to go to a different location when I live a block away! Give me a break!! Do better Sweetgreen! Please get Daisy some customer service training. She was downright RUDE! $49 dollars is insane. PLEASE DO BETTER @Sweetgreen Hyde DO BETTER! EXPLAIN THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE is...
Read moreToday I had a fantastic meal at Sweetgreen, and I can’t stop thinking about how fresh, flavorful, and satisfying it was. I ordered the miso-glazed salmon bowl, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The salmon was perfectly cooked—tender, flaky, and coated in a rich, savory miso glaze that added just the right balance of umami and sweetness. It paired beautifully with the rest of the bowl’s ingredients, which were equally fresh and thoughtfully assembled.
The base of the bowl had a hearty mix of warm grains and greens, providing both nourishment and texture. Every component—from the crisp cucumbers and shredded cabbage to the tangy pickled onions and spicy sunflower seeds—added a unique layer of flavor. The dressing tied everything together with a subtle zing that didn’t overpower the natural ingredients.
