Myself and friends arrived Sat May 11th for my birthday when they "said" they were opening and what was listed online, at 7pm but the doors were locked. We sat in the car and waited then one person came to unlock the doors, 15mins later another vehicle pulled up in front of the door to unload items and mind you that it's 8:45pm at this point. Once able to come in, We were allowed to order drinks from the back but could not sit back there because it was reserved for bottle service only and the bar stools had been removed. We sat up front and it felt like an ice box. The bartender was nice (short, light skinned w/braids) but drinks were $16, all of what they did have. We were told by a different person behind the bar that they only have Ciroc, Apple Crown, Tequila and Hennessey because that's mostly what people drink. The liquor wasn't even top shelf for $16 per drink. We reserved spots for the patio but were told we couldn't be out there by ourselves. It wasn't that many people there that night and I don't even know if the DJ we were there for, ever showed up. They said originally, that the entry fee was $20 after 10:30p but started charging $20 after 10p. I nor my people...
Read moreI came here recently on a Friday . There was no karaoke . The lady bartender light brown skin black woman was so Impersonal . I inquired about the advertised specials . She was so short with me also zero connection on customer services . She said I ain’t making your drink no special way . I’d never spend a penny here again . I asked her to only use limes she was talking over me , she said I don’t care how you enjoyed another beverage when you came before I’m not doing anything different . I will say there’s a Latina lady and a black male bartender I have encountered who’s kind but even on a night we’re is feels slow in foot traffic . Never dampen a customers experiences . Even with the ambiance of enjoying the basketballs games on the screen, the Djs , the chill environment before the party starts . Who would patronize such an attitude in a black business . Not interested in having such experiences . Prayerfully more people training will happen...
Read moreI was there May 14, 2021 and I was at the bar the entire night spending money. A young lady who’s one of your bar tenders took my order but because she couldn’t hear me because I had my mask on she shrugged her shoulders, rolled her eyes and walked away and never came back and when she did come back my way she took everyone’s order except mines. I eventually had to ask the bust boy for a glass of water and when he told the young lady…she made the water but slide it down the bar to me. As I can recall it’s still a pandemic.. Covid still exist. That was so rude and uncalled for. If anything she could have said I can’t hear you can you pull your mask down. Everything else was uncalled for. This was my first time even being at this location and I had that I had to experience something so rude, uncalled for and unnecessary at a black owned establishment. We have to do better and it starts with the...
