Ah, the fine art of overcharging loyal customers—this place has truly mastered it. I've ordered from here at least ten times, both via Uber Eats and walk-in, always getting the same thing. But on February 10, they decided to get creative with my $20 Regular Philly Cheesesteak order. Typically, the Regular and King sizes come in an aluminum pan, but this time? I received a cheesesteak so small it fit perfectly in a standard takeout tray. How innovative!

So, let’s do the math: I paid $24 (after Uber fees) for what was essentially a small cheesesteak—when I was expecting a Regular. Naturally, I called to address the issue, only to be met with an employee who was more interested in arguing than resolving the problem. He must be new, clearly, because anyone who's been around knows the $20 cheesesteak put this place on the map.

But the real cherry on top? My food arrived in a Sharks bag. Nothing says “top-tier service” like getting my order in packaging from a completely different restaurant. Fiancé and I were craving Gyros, and didn’t want to go just to any rinky dink ol place. So we figured we would give Tony’s on 87th a shot, and they didn’t disappoint when it came to the immense portion of Gyro meat that came with their Gyro Plates. Oh My God, they give you your moneys worth! And with inflation consistently on the rise, I can truly appreciate that. With no lettuce…, but everything else was good and fresh. Customer service was on point once I got there. They messed up my order over the phone. But I should’ve known sumn was off when being charged only $31 for two Gyro Plates, with two Grape Slushy Lemonades. But thanks for all the coupons to claim some freeby perks at a later date. "Pee-Wee's" formally held this location. When Pee-Wee's was in business there were SEVERAL items of food you could purchase below $5 price range. You will be hard pressed to spend less than $10 on average here. The food is good, but service is terrible 😤👎🏾 rice bowls priced at $17... Rice is not that expensive. If you value your dollar, please do your math before ordering food here... Or take your business elsewhere. They will take advantage of you, if you are not paying attention.
