Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Idaho

After repeating our requested order more than 4x (yup, FOUR TIMES) we get to the window & pay for our food - no problem, no worries, right?? Nerp, not THIS visit friends! When the polite, young man handed me our drinks - i was happy with the 1st (my delicious real strawberries, all natural lemonade, YUM) drink, content with our 2nd (daughter's apple juice box🍎) drink, THEN CAME THE 3RD BEVERAGE. . . an itty bitty, teeny tiny, albeit tasty, cherry limeade😐. Naturally i asked the young man, "Uh, what's That drink for??" To which he replies, "oh, did you want that Medium?" 🤨 Eh?? So i respond, "I'm sorry, but didn't we have an entire conversation about how y'all no longer offer Small Sizes for your Combos Meals? You know, the #10 with lite mayo & a cherry limeade...?" Regrettably, i believe my unintended tone may have scared the poor kid as it all came rushing back to him that we had ordered a #10 meal & DEFINITELY NOT a Kid's Tenders meal... While my biggest concern was the difference in price, he rushed to get the manager to get things squared away & AWESOMELY (this was a fantastic resolution to the issue, i just gotta say) the Manager said to us, "So sorry about the mixup, we've got that #10, Medium sized w/tots & a Cherry Limeade on the way for ya! Also, would you guys like to still have the Kids Tenders Meal for your troubles??😃" OF COURSE, YUMMY!! So, INCREDIBLY short story, long : We had our order messed up, they made it right & then some. I usually write reviews because I’m really ecstatic about a place that I went and ate, I’m really upset. Usually with fast food I don’t write reviews unless it’s mostly exceptional. But here I am! I am currently 22 weeks pregnant and suffer from lactose intolerance in this pregnancy. Which apparently is a thing that can happen if you get pregnant. Now knowing that I risked eating a sonic milkshake because I’ve been craving them. When my husband ordered me a chocolate milkshake with snickers and bought extra snickers for me, knowing that I wouldn’t be able to eat another milkshake for a while because of what it does to my insides, I was really looking forward to this one milkshake. Unfortunately my snickers had not even a quarter of a quarter of a regular size snicker bar inside my milkshake. It was the least amount of snickers I have ever seen in a milkshake. I am not only sad and disappointed, but I feel like it wasn’t worth me having to sit on the toilet for the next day. I really needed this guys. I REALLY NEEDED THIS. Because I get these progesterone shots in my hips to help me because I gave birth to my last son and he almost died TWOCE, and I’m very emotional. I needed this. Sadly disappointed. As a steakhouse manager myself I am baffled by the service, and the food received. What a spit in the face from the gentleman on Saturday night. We went a little late at night I'm not going to lie. It was about 15 to close. It was for a buddy of mine, he specifically wanted sonic so we made it in time before they closed. We rolled up and simply asked for 1 hotdog with ketchup only. That was it. He made sure multiple times that it was ketchup only, and rang up 1 hotdog with only ketchup. We rolled up to the window, paid, and received our food. We got home and opened the one hotdog and noticed the spit in the face. These boys out of spite, had loaded our hotdog with mustard, relish, and onions. And not a drop of ketchup. My friend couldn't eat the hotdog because he is slightly allergic to some of the ingredients loaded on the hotdog. Hence the ketchup only. I am extremely disappointed in this sonic.
