Longtime customer with GREAT relationship from another location. New to this one on my way to the office. Was in line when a car pulled up an alley to get in line. When the order taker walked toward that car that had just showed up, but I would arrive to the window first, calmy stated "actually I was here first". Order taker was a bit snarky "Well, I'm going here". It was fine and I only mentioned it because I was technically going to arrive to window first and I know their flow is to move cars quickly. Rather than later taking my order, she takes orders for 4-5 cars behind me and then goes back in the booth to make drinks. I arrive to window and asked about reporting a poor customer service experience. I briefly mention the experience and the window lady is dismissive and states "well we can deny service and don't have to take your order", which was a little shocking, but I just ignored it. I was finally told it was my word over hers and I mentioned, "she's right there if you want to ask her". She comes to the window and tells me that she didn't want to take my order because she thought I was going to yell at her, which made no sense because I wasn't even rude when telling her my order of arriving. We had a casual back and forth over her stating "she wanted to serve her regular first" and my feedback on customer service and my long standing relationship with DB. After 5 min or so of this back and forth, they stated they were refusing me service and to leave. When I stated I was calling national to report this and would not leave until this was resolved, they threatened to call the cops. While waiting on hold for national, they finally admitted I had done nothing wrong and agreed to make my drinks. I've NEVER been refused service for "I thought you were going to yell at me" and reporting a poor customer service experience in a calm logical manner. I just wanted to be heard and they were all incredibly dismissive, accusatory to the point of absurdity and demeaning of my business over their "regular". This entire experience made no sense. Left my name and number for the manager to call and reported the location to the national office franchisor since this customer service experience is not even remotely close to what the brand promotes. Incredibly...
Read moreI never EVER post reviews of businesses, but my experiences with this location have only continued to worsen over the last several months and I’m beyond frustrated. I know all Dutch Bros are staffed with teenagers and college students so I don’t expect a high level of professionalism, but almost every time I come here, I’ve seen the employees flirting with customers, ignoring customers in line, and goofing off with each other. There’s always one of the drive thru windows that is closed, and more often than not, the employees do not come out to take orders, even if there’s a long line. All of this has been ongoing, but my experience tonight truly exasperated me beyond belief.
I left early for work 15 minutes early to come here, anticipating a wait. There were 4 cars in front of me, which seemed like a feasible line. As soon as I pulled up, a female employee exited the building and approached a customer two cars ahead of me - I thought she was going to take orders. However, she did not have an iPad, and she proceeded to chat and laugh with this customer - it was clear that they knew each other or were friends. She followed that car, still chatting as the two cars at the front of the line were promptly served, staying and chatting even as this car was at the window. It did not seem like their order was being taken, and this blatant unprofessional, personal conversation with a friend continued for about 15 minutes. In the meantime, neither the car in front of me nor me had our order taken. I was on a timetable to get to work, so with no end to this conversation in sight and with my order not taken (and after seeing the car behind me get fed up with the wait and leave), I left the line and got coffee elsewhere and was served promptly.
I’ve worked as a barista, and I totally understand that there will be wait times at drive thru coffee shops. But it was shocking and honestly a slap in the face to watch this employee essentially hang out with a friend while ignoring customers and holding up the line. It’s completely unprofessional and unacceptable, and I will be going elsewhere for coffee...
Read moreI recently visited this location of Dutch Bros Coffee, and while the coffee itself was decent, I found myself disappointed with the service. The disorganized nature of the orders and the inconsistency in drink preparation left much to be desired.
One of the most frustrating aspects was the lack of order organization. Despite a relatively calm atmosphere, I noticed that orders were frequently mixed up, leading to confusion and delays. It was disheartening to see customers receiving their drinks out of sequence, causing frustration and inconvenience for everyone involved.
Moreover, I found the lack of synchronization in preparing orders particularly frustrating. It seemed like drinks were not coming out together, resulting in some members of our group waiting significantly longer for their beverages. This lack of efficiency could be improved through better coordination and communication among the staff.
Another issue was the excessive waiting time. On multiple occasions, I found myself standing in line for an extended period, only to observe the baristas struggling to keep up with the with porders. It was disappointing to see that, despite the reasonable number of staff members present, the service was still sluggish.
Despite these concerns, I must acknowledge that the coffee itself was just decent on my list visit. I do hope that Dutch Bros Coffee takes note of these issues and works towards improving their service, as it would greatly enhance the overall...
