Del Taco — Restaurant in Idaho

UPDATE: I hate to edit my reviews, especially when I had given them 5 stars, unfortunately I have to. So I've been to this locations a few more times now and honestly I am VERY disappointed in how the food and service seem to take a huge nose dive from where it use to be. The ladies that gave me exceptional service and well made food I have not seen since. The cashiers I've now dealt with are younger boys that were VERY unprofessional and acted like they hated their job and having to take my order. It made me very uncomfortable. One boy even stopped from taking my order and came around the counter and grabbed a baggie that had pills in it. I couldn't even believe it. I almost just left and not order anything. Now the food hasn't been quite as good but not enough to make me not come back but the service, well honestly I don't think I'll be back. If you want somewhere to eat for dinner or a quick bite I would choose somewhere else. Very disappointed.

Original Review: Ok so I normally will not post a review of a fast food place unless I'm pretty impressed by their food, service, cleanliness etc. Well I have been here on several occasions at different times of day and EVERY time the food has not only been served nice and warm but been deliciously made as well. their staff here are always very friendly and pleasant to deal with, which in a fast food place can be VERY rare. I've never had to wait long for my food. The staff here seem to care about having their customers leave happy. I've ordered the beer battered fish tacos A couple times at this location and they were made fresh which you could definitely tell by the taste. Honestly some of the best fish tacos I've ever had. They also have a really neat little salsa bar here which I've never seen before in a Del Taco as well as a playground for the kiddos. The bathroom was also very clean, another rarity for fast food joints. This time I ordered the deluxe chili cheese fries with extra ingredients and they made them perfectly! I went into this Del Taco location tonight and had some of the worst service I ever seen . The person working the counter was very mast and had a huge attitude problem. I wish I had taken her name . I was there before 6 pm on November 15th. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to order so I told her not to wait on me . I didn’t want to keep her from taking care of other customers in the drive through. While I thought I was being considerate by not holding her up she got an attitude with me and got very nasty . She said that she wasn’t neglecting her work and I didn’t need to tell her what to do . What was more concerning is she stated her boss was there at the time . Her boss never came to see if there was a problem. So it seems that her boss is ok with this type of behavior. I been going to this location for quite awhile and have never had an experience like this . It seems the service has gone downhill . When I was leaving I noticed another employee taking pictures and or videos of me and my car as I left . I did not want to order anything after the employee was rude and decided to go somewhere else yo eat which is my choice where I eat . I really hope someone can teach this employee how to do customer service and not have such an attitude when people are trying to be...

Will never order delivery again! Last 2 times I ordered delivery, the website changed it to pick up and , I got charged for no food! I'm stupid, I like Del taco so I tried again! I ordered delivery the website changed it to pick up so I spent money but no food ! I have not had this problem with any other fast food places? 3 times they screwed me!!! Well I'm stupid so I did order delivery 2 more times but no napkins or taco sauce even though I ordered extra! I'm done, taco time from now on , not as good but they get your order right! Taco time had a long wait Tonight so I ordered another delivery from del Taco on overland, was hoping it would go well but no, once again website changed my delivery to pick up! And it said if you have a problem with your order call the store, so I did and someone who could barely speak English told me she could not help me , I had to use the website!!
