Deb's Cookie Jar — Restaurant in Imperial Beach

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures to share but trust me, the presentation is as good as the flavor of her product. I was gifted a large variety of cup cakes for my birthday and I have to say that they are by far the best cupcakes I've ever had. I often sample cupcakes and Debbie's are perfectly sweetened, fluffy and light but have enough weight and volume; they aren't gut bombers nor do you get that sick feeling after eating too much sugar. The coconut cupcakes were my favorite. We had to go back and sample the cookies. We tried the chocolate chip, almond-coconut, oreo chocolate chip and of course had to grab brownie. My husband was the judge and he loved them all.

No need to go to Crumble anymore, we have a great local shop to support with quality...

Deb is quite possibly the nicest person I've met since moving here to California. I found her shop by accident while driving by one day on the way home. It's in an out of the way place. It's a small unassuming shop. The cookies are absolutely delicious and if you go in and you're wondering which one to try make sure that no matter what you try the one called the dark side. It's absolutely delicious and chocolatey without being too sweet. But even better than the cookies are her cupcakes. I haven't had cake this good in years. It doesn't have that heavy texture that a lot of homemade cakes have and her buttercream is light and I could literally just eat a bowl full of it. She's pretty much the best thing about Imperial...

This place is AMAZING and the service is outstanding too! Great people and great food. Had the Bomb breakfast and it was huge. Super flavorful and delicious. Plus got the half order of biscuits and gravy. It came with a good amount as well even for a half order. So good I am going back today. Also got the hazelnut coffee because I read good reviews. Another perfect treat. DEFINITELY going back. I love how friendly they were and it’s rare to go to a place where they know the people that walk through their door....
