11:23pm- I pull into the drive thru with one car in front and one behind 1124pm- I've pulled up to the drive thru order box, soon after the car behind pulls to the second window. I've been sitting occasionally asking the operator hello? Ready? Hello? It was on this third hello I began to ponder "is the McDonald's open?" 1125 my calls are answered with the signature "hello, welcome to McDonald's what can I get for you?" My prayers answered. 2 mcchickens and a rootbeer please. The car who was behind me pulls ahead into the next spot in line. 1126 my prayers dashed. They have no root beer. My order taker sumized the only available course of action is 3 mcchickens. I agree and pull up behind the white van. I can now clearly see three vehicles stand between me and my mcchickens. 1129 no additional movement. I regret not getting a 4th mcchicken. 1130 the windows open for the car at the front of the line while the operator and driver chat 1132 the car pulls out and the line pulls up. I pay for my mcchickens. I pray for the lines to move faster. Only 2 other cars, not that bad.... 1133 cars move one additional space I am one car from my meal. 1134 cars move another space. I am at the window. I confirm with the attendant I have 3 mcchickens. I am told we're waiting for mcchickens meat 1135 Yelling ensues, Discussions of is it safe to open the doors at night and where is it safe to park, worry me, but I am in this for the home stretch 1137 the operator realizes "Oh this window is open," the window is shut and so is my hope. I continue to hear the yelling through the glass. 1139 movement from the attendant, hope, but it was just a soda being filled. 1140 with a smile yet the subtle hint of annoyance "here you go, three FRESH mcchickens." Thank you, and I pull up. 1141 Chicken Confirmed. I must say, they were fresh.

Read moreConsistently terrible service. Orders are incorrect more often than they are correct. Many times menu items are unavailable. Especially the chocolate for dipped cones.
Drive through has terrible customer service skills, rarely acknowledging they are on the mic, leaving the customer to find out of the establishment is ready to take my order. Also lacking is the staple of a good business, and that is a simple thanks for choosing McDonalds.
This franchise should be closed. Too prime a location to have such a horrible performing restaurantestaurant. IF this location is profitable, it's definitely in spite of what the management team is trying to do, which seems to be providing the worst service for the customers money.
4/22/17 Update Again a terrible experience. Unaware of their own menu, rude reaction to discussing what was on the menu versus what was being rung up. Called the comment number to be hung up on.

New lobby! Looks great.
They also added the new self serve kiosk. It's OK, and it's nice they added it but the system itself is convoluted. Not this McDs fault but a heads up nonetheless.
Still adding to this review. So apparently, the self serve kiosk is going to be shoved down our throats. Rather than take my order, the employee insisted we use self serve.
Look. Take my order and do your job. This particular store has to be an embarrassment to the total chain. Never a decent interaction here.
Update. Still giving this place chance after chance. Today, not a single clean table in a basically empty lobby....
Read moreThis is the worst McDonald's in the independence area. I ordered a big breakfast without pork sausage. I was given pork. I called the manager I spoke with was very kind, told me I will put your name in the book to come get your order replaced. Fast forward 1 week later I go to McDonald's to get the big breakfast. When I get there the regional manager told me that if I didn't get out of his line he was calling the police on me for asking them to replace my order. Sat in the line and waited on him to call the police on me because I ask for them to replace what they messed up. The manager who is an extra intelligent individual came out of the store to took a picture of my tags and sent my tag number to some random individual he was speaking too. Everyone that works here is rude and unprofessional. If you are smart you won't patronize this location everyone that works at this location has poor customer service skills along with nasty attitudes . The manager is a joke and just as childish as his employees. The manager stated to me he is God of McDonald's "God of McDonalds". I told him I was reporting him to corporate. He then informs me he is the corporate office of McDonald's, and the Regional and District manager. How lame can one person be? THIS LOCATION, MANAGEMENT AND STAFF GET A BIG FAT -F.
