Starbucks — Restaurant in Independence

Charged for extra syrup that isn’t actually extra syrup every day. The reasoning given is “for inventory tracking” however they aren’t putting a flavor in the computer just saying extra syrup. The drink we get comes with 4 pumps of flavor whether it’s Carmel or 4 different pumps. We should only get charged For extra if i get more then 4, that’s how every other Starbucks does it. They also Get irritated if you order the drink the way you want it that isn’t “normal” I like 2 shots of espresso with 4 ounces of milk in a venti cup with the rest of the cup full of sweet cream cold foam. I go every morning to grab my wife’s coffee and I was ordering mine but after it made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience I just order...

I typically have okay experiences here. They are a little higher priced than stand alone ones. But one visit in particular rubbed me the wrong way. Got same drink I always do they charged me over three dollars for a drink I ALWAYS pay 2 and some change for. Asked for cream hands me black coffee. I state there is no cream in there. Kid says it's on the bar. Well being overcharged and being told to put my own stuff in it when I ordered it to already be in there. I would give this location ZERO stars if possible. Starbucks usually remakes a drink that is incorrect, but this location will not do that if you didn’t buy it from them. So that means I have to drive 10 miles out of my way since I bought one by my doctors office that wasn’t made correctly for my wife who was at home. I would not recommend this store to anyone EVER since they are not a “corporate” location. I guess non-corporate locations mean poor...
