Went to Arby's for a deal they offered in the app. Unfortunately, their app is not remotely ready for the public yet. They need to get the bugs worked out before offering deals to get people to download it. Ordered the 5 for $5 special, went inside, they tell me they're OUT OF ROAST BEEF. That I can either wait thirty minutes or else I can call customer service and have them refund my money. I speak with the manager to ask if they can substitute-no, they won't just give me a substitute in lieu of roast beef sandwiches. Can I get the other items in my order-no, we can't give you a partial order. Can you refund my order in store - no, you have to call customer service. All this is happening as dozens more orders for roast beef are coming in. I ask, can't you shut it down so people don't come in expecting an order- no we don't have the ability to do that. Well, I opt for calling customer service (was on hold for ten minutes before they picked up, and was told it would take about a week to receive my refund, and if I don't receive it, to call back and go through it all again). And to boot, since I "used" the deal, I lost it and couldn't use it at another location. Read moreI was the first customer of the day . Place my order drove home a sandwich was missing . I get back tell them my sandwich was missing . Nicole says you were our first order today I know that sandwich was in there im not replacing it . Of course I knew it wasn't so I became angry . She handle the situation completely professional even though I was in a rage . Finally she closed the window on me . So I calmed down went inside and talked to her in a better manner . She stood her ground knowing she completed my order and said I dont know if it fell out or what im not replace that sandwich. Soon as she said that I went to check my floor board of car and there it was . I had slammed on brakes avoiding a wreck and sandwich slid out on my way home . I'll say this I couldn't have handled the attitude I gave her I would have lost it . She maintained a calm professional manner the whole time . Read moreWent here this evening and got 3 meals for my family. After we got home, we realized they forgot my daughter's chicken so I drove back 15 minutes to grab them, waited in the drive thru line for 5 minutes, then grabbed my chicken. I asked them if I could get a new sandwich that came with my meal because I had to drive all the way back from my house to the restaurant, then proceed to have to eat an hour old beef and cheddar. Those get soggy fast, and add cold to that, no thanks. They wouldn't comp it and made me pay for a new sandwich if I wanted one. They offered my a free cookie for my trouble which I did not want, but all I wanted was to eat a warm sandwich which I ordered in the first place. Really frustrating because I have not once had a bad experience until this time. We will not be back unless this is corrected.
