Today, April 21, 2021 @ 10:31am, I visited my local Bojangles; this location. Today was also the LAST time I will visit this location.
Dealing with Donna in drive thru is the "straw that broke the camel's back. " Donna's behavior was 100% unprofessional, also completely unwarranted, throughout the entire transaction.
When I pulled up to the window, I told Donna I needed a minute to find my card. I was thrown off by what had happened while I was in the drive thru line. She acted like she couldn't hear me and I then repeated myself. Mid-sentence, Donna shook her head, then turned to the young guy she was working drive thru with, the one entering the orders into the computer, and started talking to him. I ended up not being able to find my card and asked if I could pay with Samsung Pay. She interrupted me for the second time, turned away mid-sentence and told her peer to talk to me.
He had no issue with understanding me and while he was holding the device so I could scan it, I asked Donna if I was just not speaking loud enough for her to hear me. Donna didn't say a word again, just like she didn't say a word during the entire transaction. we were able to finish the transaction. Donna then hands me my food without saying a word and then looks at me with an attitude when she realizes I hadn't driven off. I told her I need my drinks and again, without a word, she handed them to me.
I then smiled and told Donna to have a wonderful day and I hoped her day gets better. Again. Surprise, surprise! Donna did not speak a SINGLE word! I decided at that moment to write this review when I could today.
I've been to this location several times in the past few years because my family and I enjoy the food however, 95% of our visits have ended with our orders being completely wrong or horrible customer service! Case in point would be today and Donna! I refuse to continue contributing money to a location that needs new management and a clean house.
Donna, you demonstrated you are a horrible employee today and it was not warranted at all. It's clear you either have an issue with customers or your job in general; possibly both. Additionally, I left feeling like you just had a problem with white women. Why else would you make your white coworker speak to me when it was CLEAR you understood me, especially when I told you to have a good day? I saw you blow off the tween and then me. Let me begin by saying that I'm not a picky person, and would normally eat something that was less than great in order to avoid another trip. I'm not sure what's going on here! I used to get good food here, which is WHY this was my favorite breakfast. Every now and then, I'd get an order that was sub-par, but I was happy with it the majority of the time. The last three or four times I've been here, the food has been awful! (To be clear, I'm only speaking of my breakfast, not their entire menu.) Edible biscuits are light, fluffy, and soft. I'm getting biscuits that are hard and so dry that it's hard to choke them down without including a sip of drink. The seasoned fries I've been served have been sitting around for so long that the soft potato part inside has collapsed, and they're hollow. They're just hard and dry.* This place is notorious for getting your order wrong! They've also served me biscuits that should have been trashed. In one instance, I bit into my steak biscuit to discover that my biscuit was so hard, it was crunchy like a cookie! I've also had numerous issues with the seasoned fries being so salty that they weren't edible. I don't appreciate getting home and having to turn right back around and go back to fix an issue. Read moreThis has got to be the worst location with the worst staff and the worst food. The chicken tastes like the purposely drop it on the floor prior to dropping it in grease that should’ve been changed weeks ago. The worst part is just this week alone, I went to this location attempting to get an order of Bo rounds and the staff member that’s usually there to open up ignored me at the intercom and continued to do so while I sat at the drive up window while calling them on the phone. The next morning which is today where they had been opened since 6am and it was approximately 7:24, I was told by that same staff member that they were closed. I asked what time would they open and her reply was due staffing shortages they would be opening a few mins later which couldn’t serve as a real answer because it had already been 1.5hrs since opening time. She was very rude about it I might add. I understand the staffing issues. My job is still reeling from the same affects caused by the pandemic but I still punch the click on time and serve as many customers as I can in within the 8hrs I work because that’s what I get paid to do.
