Our first visit was on a Monday, Feb 24th, I believe her name was Christa that seated us and took our order. I was impressed with her enthusiasm for the company. She knew the history and the menu extremely well. And her personality was such a pleasure. My husband and both our boys have worked in customer service and hospitality and we value great customer service. She was spot on, and the food was cooked really well. We loved the grilled biscuits, very soft and fluffy, nothing was smothered in grease. The bacon was crisp but not burnt. Eggs were fluffy and grits were creamy. The menu had lots of variety with fair prices. The decor is supper cute. Great location. Our second visit was on March 28th, a Friday. I had just come from having fasting labs and they were a little busy, we were seated right away, but about 15 minutes passed and no one even made eye contact with us, while others coming in after us were getting waited on.. My husband had to walk over to another server and ask why were were being overlooked. I'm not sure why someone did not at least stop at our table to let us know our server would be with us soon. Nobody likes to feel invisible. Our son is a server, so I know how busy it can get. But at least try to communicate. We waited a little longer and we were just about to leave when I think it was the manager who came over to our table with fresh donuts and apologized. She was so nice, and it was nice to feel heard and appreciated. Not too long after that our server came over and said she was sorry, she was in the back. The food was great, and the kind gesture of the manager saved the day. We will...
Read moreBad first impression and then some. My wife and I got there on a Saturday morning before they got too busy - approx 8am. Asked for a booth as I saw one available and was told sure - "the booth is available but we cant seat you due to waitress rotation". Really? We just can't sit down? "sorry company policy" So we waited for the rotation standing 10 ft from the empty clean and ready table leaning on my cane for almost 10 minutes. Got seated - ordered. Food was fine as well as the service. Had to use the bathroom and found NO toilet paper in either of the men's or women's bathroom. So I had to use the rough brown towels from the hand washing area in the bathroom which were not reachable from the toilet. THEN when paying my bill I used cash. When the waitress returned my change she shorted me all the coins and rounded up to the next dollar to the restaurants advantage. If you don't do cash and don't have proper change the waitress should of said something!! She just quickly dropped of my change and said nothing - not even a receipt. I'm not worried about 61 cents but at least communicate you round up and don't do proper change!! Poor...

Previous Review: Eggs up grill a new restaurant in the area my family was excited to try. Walking in really enjoyed the lighting and decor. It was busy around 9am on a Saturday and maybe waited 15 minutes to be seated. Not terrible at all. Problem came when after ordering took 45 minutes before we got our food. Even when the food arrived was missing items like the fried chicken for the chicken and waffles. It's breakfast really should never take that long to make omelettes or fried chicken and waffles or anything. Food was well cooked and excellent. If they could work on there cook times will really raise the bar on this restaurant and be able to push it into the 4 to 5 star status. It is new so will most likely work it out and will definitely be...
