Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Indian Trail

I first called to place a big order on a pizza which they said they couldn’t find our address because it’s new construction, I then proceeded to offer a pick up since they were having such a hard time finding our address which is less than 1 mile away. My husband goes and picks up the pizza and they said they don’t have his order! I paid on the phone and he calls me to confirm the order no pizza to be found!! I then had to call the facility the lady questioned me of my order place and said she did not have my order! I had to request to talk to the manager Kristen which finally found it and has no way of managing her staff since clearly they don’t know the protocol on how orders work at Marcos! My husband comes home with half of our order and I had to call again and tell them we’re missing part of the order the manager proceed to tell me I have to go pick it up! I said the right thing to do is deliver the pizza! Especially through the hassle we have been at! She said she couldn’t Bc I ordered pick up and delivery was an extra fee! I said the correct thing to do is deliver my pizza without a fee since it was your mistake! Then proceeded to say that I can enjoy my pizza at home and she will credit back! So unprofessional! So I went Monday for customer appreciation day and got to order as many 1-topping medium pizzas for $1.99 and let me tell you!!! Even tho the place was packed out and there was a line/wait (however, what do you expect for unlimited 1-topping medium pizzas for basically 2 bucks?) they rocked it. My pizzas came out fresh, the staff was friendly and was very hardworking. The pizzas was on point, presentation was there and the taste, I can say is by far my favorite when it comes to a chain pizza spot. I actually went back about two days later and my pizza was out within 10 minutes pipping hot and fresh. Which was actually a lot faster than the other pizza spots that I've been to. This is my now go to spot for pizza!! If you went Monday July 22,24 for customer appreciation day and you had to wait, please don't let that discourage you, I would suggest to try them on a normal day to get the full actual...

I am beyond disappointed in this service. I had a pizza party box ordered and delivered to my grandma (she’s 86 and doesn’t drive). I tried canceling it multiple times and even tried calling. It wasn’t working. The delivery time went from 30-40 mins to nearly an hour and a half and then when they canceled it they still charged me the $50 for the pizza box that was never delivered to my grandma. I called and they said they wouldn’t refund me even though it was their lack of customer service and their app that wasn’t even letting me cancel the order in time. I am beyond frustrated and never will trust having them deliver to my grandma again. I try to do something nice because she is too far for me to bring her dinner and they just keep the pizza, charge me $50 and say it’s policy.
