Pretty peeved with how management handled my situation here. Double charged me for my food, Normally I wouldn't be that upset and would've brush it off as as a case of the food service woes , but then I overheard a conversation of the management with an employee realizing they double charged, acknowledging they double charged, but never once brought it up to me or said a single word to us the entire time me and my party were there. I hate to speak ill of situations I don't know fully of, all companies policies and liberties are different but I have a hand in the pot as a certified trainer for a chain restaurant back in Colorado. We have ways to make amends with customers for misteps, offer refunds, offer the extra food that was charged for Hell just saying something to the customers, anything at all. Again no company is the same, but the fact I heard a manager talk about charging me extra in earshot but do nothing with that info just feels cold. The food was good, one of the half sandwiches I got was wrang up as a different one but considering the bill issue I wasn't that thrown aback by it unfortunately. Didn't stop by here on its first opening before I moved away and I'm kind of sad I spent a dinner back in my hometown to have to write a review. I know you can do better gang, wish you well on your...
Read moreI came here for Sun. lunch with my parents, husband, sis, and her husband. My mom and I ordered the southwest & guacamole sandwich as a wrap, and I asked for a pickle and chips. When the food came, they were sandwiches, not wraps. And they gave me Lays potato chips instead of asking me what chips I wanted.
My husband ordered the pick 2 with soup and baked potato. His potato was barely warm.
I was on my last 2 bites of my sandwich and saw a HAIR. So I took apart the rest of the sandwich and the hair was stuck IN THE CHEESE. I lost my appetite to finish the rest.
We were all about finished eating when I realized that no one got pickles, even tho we said yes to one when ordering. So I went up front to ask for them. While waiting, I look thru the opening to the kitchen and see the staff laughing and cuttin’ up. I’m all for having fun while working, but it seemed to me that they weren’t really paying attention to their work, which would make sense why multiple things were wrong with our orders. Also, no one was wearing a hairnet, which is a problem considering a hair was in my food.
It’s unfortunate that this new location delivered poor service and poor food quality. :/ I don’t think...
Read moreI recently came to the McCalisters in Newburgh and the young lady clearly was tired and was ready to go home. When I pulled up to pick up my order, she looked at me, rolled her eyes, came to the drive thru window, opened it and just looked at me as to say "What do you want!?" She didn't greet me, she didn't say hello welcome to McCalister's. What's the name for the order? She literally stared at me for 15 seconds m. Then she proceeded to treat me as if she didn't even want to serve me and she was just ready to go home. While her other colleagues stood around behind her on their phones. Hey, I get it, this is the generation that we have to deal with and I know what working hard on your feel will do to you. Not to mention dealing wi the nasty customers, of which I am not one! However, they to have to learn customer service and maturity when working these jobs. The food is always amazing! It's just this is the fourth time I've had this kind of service and quite frankly it's unacceptable . I hope a manager or someone sees this and can...
