The food is always good here when I order or dine in. My only frustration is in area of service. I picked up the Eclipse special today which was a large 1 topping for $4.08 with a $10 purchase. I purchased two romaine salads and a pizza with ham on it. I was a little late coming to pick it up (about 15 minutes) from the pick up time of 11:31. I walk in, say I’m picking up for Nikki Gardner and suddenly this manager comes out and says “You know, I just tried to call you. Didn’t know if you blocked the number or something?” I was super confused and looked at him for a moment, processing what he said, I told him I think it might have been AT&T active armor that sometimes sends unknown callers to voicemail and I apologized for that. He says, quite rudely, “well that means no one can ever reach you and your inbox must be full of voicemails.” I was really embarrassed at the scene he made and I apologized again for that happening. I quickly left with my order and went to my car to check for the missed call and to see if the Active Armor feature had sent it to voicemail. I have no new calls at all since yesterday so I’m not sure what number he had called but it wasn’t mine.
I love Romeo’s Pizza. I’ve been going here since I was a kid.. but I don’t appreciate the manager (tall, muscular and tan with tattoos and a nose piercing) being so rude like that to me in front of people. Over something as little as a phone mishap. It’s disappointing and was embarrassing...
Read moreAfter two bites of my food, I noticed a black beetle moving in my salad. I very excitedly ordered the caesar salad with calamari because it sounded really appetizing and this obviously let me down. I had to kill the live beetle that was in my salad and spit out what I was chewing. I try really hard to be nice about food service but I found tonight’s experience to be very unacceptable. I was sitting next to a family full of kids and parents and didn’t want to cause a scene and make things hard on my waitress who was extremely nice so I very quietly showed her. She was very nice about it and alerted kitchen staff. She handled it very well. What I don’t like is that no manager nor cook came out to address the fact that I had been served a live beetle and they instead made the server deal with it fully herself when she clearly didn’t make the salad. I tipped her for her kindness but I’m going to be extremely real when I state that having live bugs in food product is extremely unacceptable and unsanitary for any restaurant and I disagree with the decision to not have anyone who was actually responsible for that dish making it to my table speak with me. I heard someone in the kitchen yell “you missed a BUG.” and honestly I just really don’t feel comfortable...
Read moreI have Never had such abysmal service in all my life. I ordered 3 items, for delivery. When it arrived I only received two. The delivery driver was useless and said "uh, i mean you can try calling the store." called store and they said they never received that part of the order, despite me having the receipt on my phone stating that all things were placed. So i placed the order for the missing part and asked the woman on the phone if id have to pay the delivery fee, the girl on the phone claimed that i was given a discount and that it would only come to 9.75. When it got here i was charged 11.87. I said you know what its okay, I'm starving whatever. BUT when i looked at my receipt after paying, They had charged me for a ranch i never ordered. AND never received. This entire interaction took over two hours. To top it all off the sandwich I finally received was THE most disappointing thing on earth. Barely any filling and the bread was heavily overtoasted, nearly burned.
As I've said this is the worst service i have ever received, and I will never be ordering...
