We came here rather late at night, and were happy to see the kitchen was still open. Our waitress was very nice, and we got two burgers. Not cheap, not also not ridiculously expensive as so many other options have become. The food was pretty quick for how late it was, and the quality was good. The fries were the kind that had no crunch at all, but still tasted alright. All things considered, the meal was pretty great until I took a bite of some fries and felt a solid object in my mouth. I spat it out, and was quite surprised to see a sizable shard of glass (one of the attached photos includes a ranch cup for scale). This rapidly changed our mood, and I spoke to our waitress about it the next time she came over to fill up our water. Now, I stated that I wasn’t looking for a free meal, because I really wasn’t and was more concerned for the safety of others. This place has a attached bar with karaoke, and if a drunk customer had been served my meal they may not have even noticed the glass. This isn’t a moldy bit of lettuce, this was a potentially lacerated mouth, throat, stomach, intestines, etc. The waitress said she would tell the kitchen, and took the shard back with her. Our next interaction with her was when she left us the check. No discount, not even a mention of the glass again. I was quite frankly, baffled by this. Now I did say I wasn’t looking for a free meal, but for them to not do anything whatsoever about it was bizarre. This was a mistake that could’ve caused significant injury to a customer, and it seemed to kinda just be ignored. Now, I don’t really blame our waitress for this. I imagine this was outside her control, and she was pleasant to us for the duration of our meal. It’s truly a shame, as we really had been enjoying our meal prior to almost swallowing glass. While the food is good, I really can’t recommend this place. The glass was bad, but the very nonchalant response to...
Read moreI’m from Texas and came up here to visit some family we went to this place because anything known is well over 40 mins out. We initially walked in and it took forever to get sat down when the whole place was empty. Our server came didn’t even get her name and she had a nasty attitude when we were about to order. She brought out bread that was cold and some margine to go along with it. When we got our food my chicken parm was at best 4/10 it was piping hot but the spaghetti that came on the side of it was cold with overcooked noodles and watery red sauce. My boyfriend ordered lasagna that came with no other sides or anything it was a small piece for $20 dollars both his and my food just tasted like bad tv dinner. We asked the server for the check but before we got her attention she was standing in the kitchen blowing out huge puffs from her vape. Not even exaggerating when she brought the check out it was thrown on the table. Would not recommend to anyone here looking for...
Read moreBecause we were out at IUP to visit our daughter my husband and I took her and our two sons to Spaghetti Bender’s for an evening meal. The food was excellent. It tasted homemade and fresh. The portion sizes were nice and very very affordable. Although we did have waters, we ordered four entrees and each had dessert. Our total bill with tax was like $81 which was awesome. The server was very personable and attentive. Next time you’re visiting IUP or in the neighborhood I’d definitely check it out!!! Nice place to take a large group or family!! Felt like we were in a...
