Like a local non-franchised starbucks. My wife and I got the Iced Burbon Carmel Machiatto. She got a cinnamon roll and I got a breakfast biscuit sandwich. We were happy we tried it. Barista was super friendly. We liked Cath better than starbucks, but only slightly. The quality of everythjng was very, very similar, in our opinion (coffee was slightly better). We paid more than starbucks but liked the fact that we felt like we were supporting the local economy better and enjoyed the City Market place area. When we stopped to look the menu and the delicious looking desserts at Cath Coffee at Castleton Square Mall, the owner called out and greeted us. He was so nice and answered all of our questions. My daughter told him how much I love Dubai chocolate, and he told us that he had 3 different sizes that were all homemade. We got the smallest just to try it out and it was amazingly delicious. He had 3 sizes, a small for $9, a medium for $19 and the HUGE one was $29. (About the size of my forearm!) Well worth the money for the size. Little hidden places like this are what make Indy great. Right under your nose, offering a delicious roast and wonderful service, this place is locally-owned and has all the right snacks to get your day started. The matcha is clear (not like nasty matcha from Starbucks or Dunkin). The espresso is toasty and powerful. The baklava is nutty, crispy, and decadent.
