Pool is fantastic. Lots of lounge chairs and chairs! Lots of shade provided if preferred. Lots of sun as well! They've only been open for 3 weeks. They have been closed since COVID. You can tell they opened to just get people in and swimming but other things need to be addressed. They need more lifeguards in order to open up all of the slides. The one they have running is so much fun but it will be even more fun with the others open as well. There is a family restroom/ changing room as well as locker rooms with stalls, showers and changing area but it needs some attention. The smell is not pleasant. It; whole room needs to be scrubbed and hosed down with bleach or Fabuloso and regularly. It's been closed up since 2020. They need to keep the door propped open for fresh air. The air is stagnant. The green spaces and pots need to be weeded. The speaker for music is an announcer speaker so it sounds like you're at the racetrack and not at a nice pool. The snack bar is also closed but their sign says you can't bring in food. Aside from the bathrooms, weeds and lack of snack bar this place is great and you need to check it out. You will love the zero entry pool for the little ones and to sun bathe, you'll love the umbrella showers and sprays. The slide is great, exciting fun and will be better when The other slides open. The pool is huge so you are never on top of anyone. There are mature trees outside. It feels like you're at a state park. There is massive...
Read moreShelter #2. September 3rd, 2023. Picnic bench had no bench to sit on. We were told there were 2 Porta potty. They were so far away from the shelter you had to drive there. We were having a family get together. Very disappointed. The shelter looked like termites had taken over. The potties were not clean at all. We went to a hotel to use the bathroom. No bathroom tissue, nothing to cleanse your hands with. With all the improvements you claim to have made it definitely was not put into the shelters. There should be at least 2 stalls at each shelter with running water and flushable toilets. We had a family gathering there a few years ago at a covered shelter that had bathrooms. That one was already booked. That's fine but damn. I would have rather used the bathroom in the woods it was probably a lot cleaner. SAHM park should be shame. We are human beings and should be treated as such. My daughters should be entitled to at least half of their money back for what they paid. I will be looking into another park for our...

We were thrilled to check out Sahm Golf Course… until our 5-year-old prodigy was turned away like he’d asked to drive the cart solo. This isn’t your average toddler with plastic clubs — this kid has played The Fort, Indiana University’s Pfau Course, and Purgatory, and guess what? Those top-tier courses welcomed him with open arms and free rounds, practically begging him to return.
He’s not just swinging wildly at dandelions — he takes lessons with Brad Feller at Elevation Golf in Carmel. He has a better backswing than half the men on the tee sheet. The only hazard he poses is to egos.
Yet somehow, Sahm decided he wasn’t “old enough” to play. Not skilled enough? Please. The divots he fixes are deeper than their policy.
To the powers at Sahm: you just benched a future Masters champ. Hope that felt good. Meanwhile, we’ll be teeing off at places that recognize talent when they see it....
