Overall I really liked this restaurant but it's not really authentic. I think the owners are Taiwanese and they try to make food with inspiration from Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese cuisine. 6 of us shared the ultimatum and I had plenty of food and I was full after the meal. We started off with the lettuce salad, it tasted Japanese and something typically served in Japanese bento boxes. Then came the skewers and those were good but it's lite on cumin, spiciness and fat for the Chinese style so it's likely Yakitori style. Next came the highlight of the meal, which was the ribeye steak, it was excellent and marinated and cooked to perfection; no complaints other than the $30 price tag if you were to order it separately. The marinated beef wrap was excellent though a bit small in terms of quantity. The Korean deep fried chicken was okay, definitely on the sweeter side. Then came the Chashu noodles, I didn't like the name because it makes me think it's inspired by Japanese ramen but the broth, noodles, and pork were all lacking in terms of taste and flavor profile compared to authentic Japanese ramen and the noodles were Chinese style and not actually Japanese ramen, if you overlook this it wasn't bad. The black pepper spaghetti seemed inspired by Japanese soba noodles, it was good though by this time I was kinda full. The marinated beef noodle was sweeter than expected and decent, it's refreshing for a summer dish. I would like to try the Taiwanese braised beef noodle soup and the Bao buns (Gua Bao), these seem like authentic Taiwanese dishes. Ultimatum combo was not really worth it because you are forced into ordering all the stuff and you only save the black pepper spaghetti vs ordering individually and they don't actually give you the most popular items (11.5+11.5+7.95+7.95+6.95+6.95+29.99+24.95+15.5+15.5= $138.74). This place definitely is on the pricier side. Also the tiramisu dessert was frozen.
Service was really good, when requested they gave us these chopsticks in these super...
Read moreThis was our first visit. The ambiance is amazing. Quiet and beautiful. I love the camping concept. The "booths" are secluded and very cozy.
The service was quick and she was very friendly. She answered all our questions and was very patient. We took extra time to order due to never having been here.
The food was quickly prepared. The presentation was beautiful. Colorful and very appetizing. I had the chicken kotsu bao bun and OMG it was absolutely delicious. Very flavorful, cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside and very juicy in the center. The sauce is a perfect compliment and simply delicious.
He had the pineapple chicken over rice and I have to say, it was a disappointment. Again, presentation was on point. However it tasted just like one of those 80s Swanson TV dinners. Not what we expected at all. It wasn't sweet. He couldn't finish it. I took one bite and didn't want anymore.
Next was the beef BBQ skewers. Again, presentation was on point. The appearance and smell was fantastic. It tasted good. My only complaint was it was very hard to get off the skewer and a bit chewy. Seemed a bit overcooked. The flavor was really good but it was hard to focus on taste because it was chewy.
I also ordered the caramel cake milk tea. It was amazing. It tasted just like caramel cake.
Overall it's definitely somewhere we will try again. Just a few small changes and this place would be amazing. I'll definitely get the bun again but I also want to try other things.
The prices are very reasonable as well. It won't break the bank.
Give them a try, just don't get the...

The service was quick and incredibly friendly, adding to the welcoming vibe. We started with the Roasted Duck Scallion Pancake Wrap and the Cha Shao Pork Bao Bunâboth were delicious! The pancake wrap was stuffed with duck and veggies and great flavor, while the bao bun was soft, pillowy, and filled with savory-sweet pork.
For entrees, we had the Marinated Beef Spicy Chili Dry Noodle and the Cha Shao Pork Soup Noodle. The spicy dry noodles packed a bold sesame and garlic kick with tender beef with just a little heat, while the pork soup noodles was excellent comfort food.
To drink, we tried the White Peach Oolong Tea and the Super Fruit Teaâboth were refreshing and full of flavor. The peach oolong was subtly floral, while the super fruit tea was bright and packed with lots of citrus fruit.
