Went to Yummy Bowl today for lunch. Honty, it is 🔥!! You go in fill out a card at the desk with your name and pick your starch listed on the back. Steamed Rice, Brown Rice, Fried Rice w egg. Then they give you a Bowl to take to the build a Bowl bar. You select veggies, protein, seasonings and sauce. Price is $7.99 per pound of food cooked with your rice. Good selection of veggies and meats. Beef, pork, seafood, tofu. Names are listed on the overhead acrylic or glass awning over the food. Once your ready a server/cook will place your food on the giant Mongolian grill and cook it. You can watch the whole process. Once it's done they place it in a bigger bowl to accommodate the rice and your selections. They walk it to the desk, weigh it, bag it and then you pay. Cash or C.C. They also give you utensils, yum yum sauce (so good) and fortune cookies. Pros, fresh good looking food to choose from, fast service, friendly, clean place. Cons, I don't like the touching of the tongs by each cutomer that comes in line. It's like the old Smorgasbord service. With all the germs out, I can't see this lasting long. A new way to spoon out your food is needed. Disposable tongs per person could work, but then it's cross contamination issues. A server to spoon it out for you maybe. I don't know! But I loved the food and minus the germ ideal. I...
Read moreThe place looks nice, they have alot of decorations/lights around. The service is ok, the waitress that we had was nice but we all (table of 5) ordered the bottomless bowl so she was kind of avoiding us to let the food settle some more before ordering another bowl. It was our first time going there, all in all it was good. They had a wide selection of veggies, meats, and sauces to choose from which we all really appreciated. They also cooked the food pretty fast and we received it immediately after, during cooking some things get mixed together so expect to get some things that you didn't grab end up in your bowl. Also another thing to mention, it was my first time so I was a bit surprised by this, they add the tip onto the bill for you. It may have just been because we had a table of 5 but they added a gratuity fee of 18% to the bill so the total on the receipt was $98 something, then asked if we wanted to add an extra tip along with the signature. With that said I'd definitely come here again, with the amount of food that you get, the variety, and the speed of which you recieve your food I think its definitely...
Read moreTook my wife here because our tastes, and our diets, can be varied and this is the kind of place that accommodates wanting a variety without paying excessive ala carte prices. My wife can be significantly picky about the types of foods available, as well as the cleanliness of a restaurant. This is not a fancy establishment, but it isn't dirty either - the seating and dining utensils were clean and in good shape. The food was delicious, and the array of choices allowed us a lot of room to experiment. My only criticism is that our server was a bit aggressive in trying to guide us through the process (we'd been to a Mongolian BBQ before - just not this one), but I could tell she was trying to help and I appreciated her efforts nonetheless. They had several signs up to help guide you through the process as well. I sincerely wish we had something like this in my town, and knowing there are other locations around Indianapolis, I will definitely keep this in mind for...
