If you come expecting fine dining, you are obviously a recent arrival from another galaxy. If you expect low, low prices, big volume and reasonably good taste, you will not be disappointed.

I got a slice of pepperoni pizza, a slice of cheese pizza and a soft drink for under $5.00. If I had known how big the slices were going to be, I could have gotten by with one slice. The pizzas were pretty greasy but tasted good enough.

My mother got the chicken salad and found that it was a lot of salad (lettuce) and a little chicken. A bit of disappointment for her. Her beverage, a cold brew mocha, was surprisingly good, in her opinion. She is my mother, so I am going with that opinion, I might add. Life tends to go better when you do so.

The staff was very harried and almost threw the pizza at me. Not exactly service with a smile. All condiments, soft drinks, silverware, etc. were self-service. They even had napkins and cleaning spray so you could wipe down dirty tables yourself. "Low price", I kept telling myself, "Low price!"

The layout of picnic benches, umbrellas and simple conditions reminded me of indoor "street food". I felt almost like I was back home in Cambodia for a moment. Ok, a bit of an exaggeration, but I found the atmosphere more than acceptable. The more dainty among us, however, might not....
