Ah man, I've been waiting for a good Korean Corn Dog spot here in Indianapolis for such a long time.
As a Southern California native (where Korean Corn Dog Establishments are immensely popular), the selection of K Corn Dogs in Indianapolis has been depressing for a long time - until Korn's opened.
With every new KDog restaurant opening in Indianapolis, I make it a point to visit it, in hopes that I might find one that resembles my favorite spots in Cali.
While Two Hand's KDog in Greenwood is decent, Korn's is superior.
My first time visiting Korn's was disheartening though because they had no idea what I was talking about when I asked for sugar on the KDog (how Kdogs are traditionally served in Korea). It was also opening weekend, and the four dogs I had ordered took upwards of two hours to come out.
Despite opening woes, Korn's has turned into the most respectable KDog establishment in the Indianapolis area, churning out great Korean Corn Dogs.
I do really REALLY wish that they served Tteok Bokki however, a common/somewhat spicy fish cake soup that's often used as dipping...
Read moreKorean style corn dogs are so good! This unique spot is located inside the Saraga international grocery store. As soon as you walk into the store there is a small "food court" located on the left. The seating area was a little dirty from multiple customers making messes at tables. The squeeze bottle condiments were communal and located on a tray on one of the tables. In the post covid Era, this seems a little questionable but that was honestly my only issue with this place. The corn dogs are so tasty. I also got the Buffalo garlic fries and they were super good. It's really low key and fun but it's location does this place a disservice for the atmosphere. There was also a sushi location and a Korean BBQ in the same food area. I will probably eat here every time I go to this grocery store for my...
Read moreMan this place was a Disappointment. I was really excited to try them out today for the 1st time but I must say it did not go as expected. 1st thing, the menu was easy to read but the prices were high. They're charging almost $6 for a corn dog and $5 for small fries. I spent about $18 on 2 dogs and fries. The dogs were really dry and had barely any to no flavor. After a few bites I lost my appetite. I thought the sauces would make up for it but that didn't do justice. As for the fries. I got the Buffalo Garlic Fries. I didn't taste the garlic or anything else except the Buffalo Sauce. They poured so much on it which made the fries really soggy. I drove about 30 minutes to try this but never again. It was a total let down. I would not...
