(I'm not a fan of Crumbl, but used it for a New Years sampling for 5.)
*Since they were closed on New Years the order was picked up New Years eve. Everything was tasted 24hr after pickup.
Online ordering was smooth until pickup. Ordered the gift wrap option for confetti cake to come with a bow, sticker of choice and personal message. Sticker chosen was unavailable, chose another in store and personal message was not included. (Maybe wait to see if that can be added at pickup to get all the included?)
The store appeared clean and organized. The baking crew was working and very chatty with each other, but not customer engaged. Assistance was eventually offered but felt like an inconvenience.
Would recommend online ordering v.s. in store ordering.
-Confetti Cake, more dense like pound cake, icing tastier than tub icing from the store. Looks small, but is alot of cake.
-Cookies and Cream Tres Leche, If you like milk with your chocolate cake, this is it together but more divine! If your not a milk cake fan, skip.
-Mini Churro Cookie-reminder of Churro in a cookie/icing form.
-Mini French toast cookie- reminder of French toast, with maples notes, light butter flavored icing.
-Mini Milk Chocolate Chunk-Milk Chocolate Chunk, nothing more or less.
-Mini Vanilla crumb cake ft. Golden Oreo, reminder more of a vanilla cream sandwich cookie than Golden Oreo flavor.
-Mini Cookie Dough-Cookie Dough not as intense as cookie dough, more balanced.
-Mini Original Pink Sugar, the almond flavor icing was a reminder of Armaretto liquor. (My fav) but can easily see how many don't like.
I'm not a cookie fan and definitely don't care for icing on my cookies. (However if you "warm" the cookies up in the microwave it feels like they become a unique dessert instead of a cookie.
With that said, it was a fun experience to sample with a group to see what everyone thought of each flavor and who liked what.
Would do it all over again with different flavors and skip the Confetti cake next time, once you've had it...
Read moreCrumbl is having its moment on social media and I think it’s cool how there’s new flavors every week.
My cousins and I came by for dessert after dinner right before closing on a weekday. Our flavors: oreo cheesecake, chocolate chip, strawberry, and fruit tart.
We got a 4 cookie box. I thought it was pricey until I saw the size of the cookies—they’re huge! It’s like $5 dollars per cookie after tax and tip. We don’t have sweet tooth’s so we each shared a bite. I recommend having this with milk to wash down the sugar. The idea of a 800-1000 calorie cookie scares me but I would have a hard time finishing just one, let alone a whole box on my own.
The strawberry cookie had a sweet strawberry icing that tasted like real strawberries! Didn’t taste artificial; not tart and had added sweetness from the sugar but this was the highlight for me. The cookie was a sugar cookie base.
The red white and blue (?): Another sugar cookie base, this was a pretty cookie but quite sweet. Nothing to write home about.
The chocolate chips in the cookie were caramel-colored and a bit big so it doesn’t look like a traditional chocolate chip cookie. It was my favorite out of the four. The chips are too sweet for me so I like the dough more.
The oreo cheesecake looked the heaviest so we saved it for last, but surprisingly it was the least sweet! The cheese flavor balances the sugar out. There’s a nice crust on the bottom too.
Honestly didn’t feel that great after eating this for dessert but it was a novel experience getting to see all the flavors and...
Read moreCold cookies, not what is advertised. I’m a very loyal Crumbl customer. I was very disappointed by this location. When I showed up and noticed there wasn’t a line even from being new, I was quite surprised. I ordered to go just in case there was a wait. When I received the cookie, it was hard and cold. I understand it’s 11:35pm at night. They close at 12. However if you are paying $5 for one cookie, why are you getting a poor quality stale cookie?! I went inside and asked for a warm one. They gave me another one that was even colder. They said they had the fan on to cool down the oven. I know because they wanted to leave. The two associates that helped me said they would go speak with their manager. I’m a manager myself and I found it appalling their manager chose to not approach me. I was friendly the whole time and just wanted to share feedback. When I asked the associate if I could speak with her, she said she was busy. They had 10 people working with no customers in the store. They gave me free cookies which was nice but it really brought my mood down by having multiple associates stare at me when I voiced my concern. Until the time of closing, you should be able to order the same quality, warm cookie the company advertises. I will wait in line for Fishers from...
