DeBrands has been a family favorite In Indianapolis going back to when they were across the street by Kohls! We’ve always had the dark chocolate truffles as our go-to; but ever since they returned at Keystone at the Crossing I’ve been able to explore the menu a bit more since I’m no longer a kid! Other faves include iced mochas, sundaes and scoops with the hard shell chocolate. The main purpose of this review is our experience in July ā€˜22 a few days before my wedding. We had difficulty figuring out a rehearsal dinner due to our wedding being on Sunday and Friday and Saturday was also booked at our venue. We had always considered reserving the space in the back at DeBrands and thought it would be perfect since we could have it after walk-through Thursday night and it would be unique for family and friends that hadn’t been before (since we cost-cut by not doing dinner). The main barrier was that they close earlier on Thursdays. However, Lori and Co. were very willing to work with us and actually stayed open a little later to accommodate. Basically, when you reserve a room, you pay X amount, but it really is just an ā€œagreementā€ for buying products there. It’s not a bad thing - you basically get the reservation cost as your money to spend on the menu!! If you go over, you pay the difference; if you go under, you can take some extra treats home to even out the expense. Our goal was for the experience to be special since we wanted to do dessert instead of dinner. While it was not ā€œcheapā€, we got multiple hours of service, the entire back area for wedding party and family, and got rave reviews from family members that still talk about it a year later! Well worth it. We were able to negotiate a good price and include a tip as a thanks to those that stayed - they were working after hours and multiple volunteers made that happen. We unfortunately don’t make it over as much since we don’t live right by the store anymore - but it’s ALWAYS a suggestion any time we’re close or when there’s a Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, or National Make-Up-A-Reason-To-Eat-Chocolate Day to celebrate. Lori (the boss!) is often around and is friendly and pleasant to talk to - staff are above-average on customer service; always seem to get good service there. Good chance I’ll see you there on my upcoming birthday! T&J ā€˜22

Here’s a review for DeBrand Fine Chocolate: DeBrand Fine Chocolate is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is elegant and inviting, setting the perfect vibe for a premium chocolate experience. The chocolates themselves looked stunning from the display beautifully crafted and absolutely tempting. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering us menus and even a tour to help us get a full experience since it was our first visit. A special shoutout to Kristina, who took the time to walk us through the menu and prepare our order with great care. The quality of everything we tried was exceptional. The espresso was rich and perfectly brewed, and the sundaes were simply divine. Even the packaging for the to-go items was impressive, definitely gift-worthy. Overall, DeBrand Fine Chocolate offers an outstanding experience, both in ambiance and product quality. Highly recommended for chocolate lovers!

I had an excellent experience working with Lori at DeBrand Fine Chocolates for a private event. Lori was extremely accommodating to my group and walked me through planning the event. She pays attention to all of the little details, follows up quickly, and was willing to answer any questions. She is an amazing event planner and did and fantastic job making sure everyone had a fun experience at DeBrand. She had really great suggestions and the feedback from the event was great. The group loved the chocolate tasting/sampling. DeBrand has a good sized private room for events and the price for renting it out is competitive. Staff was very professional and accommodating to our group. I only have wonderful things to say about having a small party at DeBrand! It's a delicious and wonderful shop!

A place I have been addicted the moment I found the small chocolate store. From various types of chocolate treats to the endless coffee options. A cozy place to read a good book, hanging out with friends while having coffee with their signature chocolate, and the three sizes that one can choose. I love the idea of using another language to describe their sizes, petite means small in France, grande for big, and the ridiculous size is a big cup that a person like me (5'2) has to use both hands to drink the coffee or beverage. My favorite of all their beverages is the hot chocolate. The hot milk covers the small pile of chocolate inside the cup, using the spoon to stir it around until it has melted away. The taste of rich milk chocolate that was handmade makes the experience much better. Whether one is stressed or just wants to relax, it is a place like no other. Staff members that like talking to clients while coming back to ask if everything is alright. What a friendly and cheerful...
